TLC Results and Review by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
A few TLC matches got changed due to a virus. So here is a report on how matches came down.
AJ Styles and Kurt Angle step up in the ring at TLC as changes are made at the last minute.
Pre Match Alicia Fox vs Sasha Banks:
Fox and Banks match was so boring the announcers where not even calling the match. WWE decided to go to promos during the match that is how important it was to them. Fox had caught Banks and tossed her out of ring and asked ref to count, Banks gets in at 8 count and Fox takes over the match. Booker compares Fox to the Missing Link. Banks hits back stabber and gets her submission move.
Winner: Banks
Auska vs Emma:
Emma tapped out.
Winner: Auska
Alexander/Swan vs Kendrick/Gallgher:
Winners: Alexander and Swan
Alexia Bliss vs Mickie James for WWE Women Championship Title:
During an Interview Bliss says she thinks her butt is cutie and says she likes her butt. The match starts and James dumps Bliss on mat. A quick cover does not work. Mickie spanks Bliss on ropes. Mickie goes for the second cover but Bliss kicks out. Mickie tries a 3rd cover but Bliss kicks out. Bliss covers James after playing an injury. James was crying in her interview about the loss and thanking fans. Is Mickie another wrestler considering hanging it up ?
Winner: Bliss
Elias sings a song at TLC and the crowd boos so loud he really cannot sing the song but he continues it again and Jordon comes out with a cart and tosses veggies at him.
Enzo Amore vs Kalisko for Cruiser-weight Title:
Enzo lost his voice but still managed to run his mouth before the match. The match seemed to favor Enzo during most of the match. Enzo mocks the fans and Kalisko answers back but Enzo nearly pins him. Enzo finds a way to cheat again and pins Kalisko.
Winner: Enzo Amore
Finn Balor vs AJ Styles:
Balor comes out as his Demon still and the WWE Universe loves every second of it. Fans started chanted THIS IS AWESOME. Fans start chanting AJ STYLES. The match goes back and forth and no one seems to get a break in the match. AJ got his submission move Cat Crusher but Balor gets out. The match goes outside the ring. Balor nearly pins AJ. AJ comes back an nearly pins Balor.
Balor pulls out all the stops in the end of the match.
Winner: Balor
Elias in the ring again singing as crowd boos. Jason Jordon comes to the ring.
Elias vs Jordon:
Fans not much in this match but Jordon pulled it off with a possible bad count as it did not look like Elias had his shoulders down.
Winner: Jordon
Kurt Angle and Shield vs Miz and company:
Well the Entrance from Rollins and Dean came from the audience and Kurt Angle joins them. Shield has chairs Fans chant YOU SUCK. Kurt joins in with chairs. Fans chant YES. Than Shield rams everyone with a ladder. Angle goes after Strowman. Shield goes after Kane. Through it all Miz was missing in action. Rollins may have re injured his knee. Angle had gotten Kane in the Angle Lock but Strowman comes back. Strowman gets Angle through table. Angle was escorted by medics. Fans started to BOO. Fans chant we want Lesnar. Kane hit Strowman with chair but team Miz counties to take apart the Shield. Miz gets a garbage truck. Shield gets Miz but numbers add up. Kane turns on Strowman and slams Strowman trough the stage and dumps a bunch of chairs on him. Kane takes out shield. Strowman takes out everyone. Kurt Angle comes back and Miz tried to pin Angle. Fans chant USA. Angle gets Miz and the Shield goes the power bomb and Angle gets Miz.
Winners: Shield
MY REVIEW OF TLC:
WWE had been hit with a lot with some of the wrestlers out with a viral infection but they more than compensated the fans. However matches dragged out and did not really offer fans anything. At one point fans started to Chant TABLES. Seems cheating by someone is still the only way to win a Title in the WWE. The match with Balor and Styles was one of the best matches on the card and I loved in the end they did the CLUB sign. As many people are aware AJ, Gallows, Anderson, and Balor ran the club in international wrestling and the question is will the CLUB be coming?
What TLC lacked was TITLE MATCHES like for the WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP or INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
The last match became destruction and Angle was escorted out of ring with medics. Angle came back and the Shield pulled off a huge upset.
My One Word for the Show: WANTED
