Here we are in September 2026 the stories about Pokemon cards seem to include SCALPERS, People breaking in and stealing Pokemon Cards, and the value of Pokemon Cards.

Pokemon Red and Blue was released in North America in  1998.

Pokemon got a boost in 2016 with a game called POKEMON GO and the game became extremely popular in 2020 to 2021 at a time the county was also experiencing a thing called Covid-19.

It was also pushed by a pod-caster and  famous person named LOGAN PAUL  Logan purchased and graded a lot cards ending up with one card valued at 5,4 million dollars and eventually selling this card at 16 million dollars.

If a person had every card from 1998 to today the collection would be worth well over a hundred million dollars.

The value on the cards is the top reason why many people collect the cards these days. Finding cards that are of value  seems to drive many people into collecting the cards hoping to find cards that will make them money. Today people buy cards and flip them in hopes of making money.
