Where is WWE going after Raw and Smackdown ?
So I did not watch Smackdown this week sorry folks but the thing is I expected to see a story line of Raw retaliation but the simple fact is it did not happen. From what I read online nothing really happened on Smackdown.
There was no Red Brand retaliation at all.
Did we all miss something and is there a bigger story line coming?
There are several ways I can see this play out into Survivor Series but no one ever listens to me anyways in the WWE because I have called out Shane and Stephanie McMahon several times to let me run the show or at least a pay per view.
So here are some thoughts and what I believe would make fans go crazy.
BACK STABBING ON SMACKDOWN or RAW ROSTER:
A wow moment would be one of the popular Superstars to turn on the Brand. Who would I expect in this and who would I play into it. On the Raw side the Shield or Finn Balor. Fans would certainly go insane with the Shield or Balor if the ultimate plan was the destruction of Raw. The Shield makes more sense in my book as at one point they where the rebellion of the WWE fighting with the Authority and this could also lead to Stephanie McMahon returning. On the Smackdown side AJ Styles or New Day turning on the Smackdown roster. Leaving fans in suspense and closing the story-line at Survivor Series. This also would set up a possible roster change for both brands.
MISSING STARS IN ACTION:
Finn Balor and AJ Styles, John Cena and Kane could be some possible matches though I believe if possible at this point fans would want Strowman vs Kane. Akusa and Flair would seem to be a good match up as well. There has been little or no talk about several wrestlers at Survivor Series so far as well.
PRE- SURVIVOR SERIES MATCHES:
A series of matches could be set up featured on both shows between various wrestlers. This would not be Title vs Tile matches but maybe a Champion vs one of the other brands wrestlers. The benefit of this is it sets up all sorts of feuds and also could lead to my back stabbing theory above.
THE RETURN OF THE UNDERTAKER:
If the WWE really wants to go all out the Undertaker once threatened the RAW roster about losing to the Blue roster. However everyone in the WWE wants to see the DEAD MAN return.
BRING BACK HULK HOGAN:
This could open so many doors that the impossibility of it seems just insane. After all he could be the Hulk Hogan of the good old days or the Hogan of the NWO. I mean you could do so much with this it seems endless.
GOLDBERG and SOMA JOE:
A match I am sure many fans would love to see and you could make the winner next in line for either Lesnar or Mahal. Fans would love to see either face either Champion.
ROMAN REIGNS:
WWE has been attempting to shove Reigns at the Fans and this has resulted in fans revolting against Reigns. This is why WWE has reformed the Shield and placed Roman on the end of Strowman and Kane. WWE is attempting to get fans to buy in on Reigns.
I believe the whole fan issue with Reigns is no one really knows is he a good guy or a heel?
Possibly putting Reigns in the Blue Brand and having him go after Mahal just may do it for the fans. This means possibly moving the Shield to Blue Brand and here we go with the Back Stabbing on Raw.
WYATT FAMILY:
Luke and Erin are back on Smackdown while Bray is on Raw. Moving Eric and Luke to Raw and the Shield to Blue Brand makes sense. After all a whole new feud with the Miz could be formed.
USOS:
Make the Shield bigger and badder than ever moving the USOS or moving the Shield could work on either brand. This could be the revisiting of slapping one Brand in the face.
THE SHOCK VALUE:
WWE needs a SHOCKER moment in my opinion to stimulate the fans and the WWE Universe. How the WWE does this is yet to be seen. As of lately they blew a big opportunity in RAW not reacting to Smackdown invasion. There better be a good story line coming or else it was all just a waste of time.
JOHN CENA:
Lets discuss the possibilities of John Cena rumored to be the ref at the Lesnar and Mahal match. John Cena could be my smoking gun in the Slap to either Brand. Maybe he makes a bad call or decides to turn as the ref. If he is not going to wrestle than he could finally turn heel!
SOMEONE UNEXPECTED SHOWS UP:
There are a variety of people I could toss names The Big Guy, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk or some other wrestlers that may seem to fit into the story line. Whom ever it would be defiantly would add shock value.
RHONDA ROUSEY:
If WWE is bringing a big hitter Rousey would do it and you could play her against Stephanie as if you recall her and the Rock had an encounter with Triple H and Stephanie before.
ROCK:
Even the mention of the Rock there would spike the fans peak of interest and the Rock is no fan of Triple H or Stephanie McMahon either. More theories on Blue Brand rocking the Red Brand.
ANGLE vs McMahon:
A featured match for sure fans would love to see and maybe add a side wager between the two that would effect both shows. Like the winner can take one Superstar.
Return of the AUTHORITY:
Stephanie and Triple H played the Authority as heels to the max. Fans hated them and who ever choose to defy them was revered. Triple H is the Game and a plot could be hatched with Stephanie against her brother Shane on the Blue Brand side. This would also go back to Vince telling both Shane and Stephanie he wanted them to destroy each other but it never has happened.
DANIEL BRYANT:
Joining Owens and Zayne in a rebelion of the Blue Brand as lately Daniel has had some disagreements with Shane. As the future Daniel has said he wanted to wrestle and the WWE is not allowing it and rumors of him leaving at the end of the contract.
This is all just speculation and thoughts I have as a WWE blogger and Fan.
