Why are there are no Women athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, or NHL in 2021

Here we are in 2021 and women athletes are still not allowed into several major sports including:

The National Football League, National Basketball League, Major League Baseball, or the National Hockey League. 

Nascar also joins the list since the retirement of driver Danica Patrick. 

Currently there are no women athletes on any College Football team as well, nor does college football provide a league for women whom would like to play football.

Some sports have actually embraced women into the sports like the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

Women athletes can be found in these sports: volleyball, soccer, golf, mma, boxing, surfing, swimming, entertainment wrestling, bodybuilding, track and field,  pro basketball, flag football, football, tennis, roller derby, skating, motorcycle racing, drag racing, and many others sports not listed here.

However in 2021 there is not one women athlete playing on any team in the four major sports leagues in America!

WOMEN AND FOOTBALL:

Overseas the women have a football league that is called NATIONAL WOMEN FOOTBALL LEAGUE is played in Pakistan from March to April every year.

This year the American Flag Football League announced it will be adding a Women's Division.

There is a league for women in America called the  Women's National Football Conference that is a full contact tackle league.

In 1970 Patricia Palinkas was recorded as the first women to play for the Orlando Panthers in the Atlantic Coast Football League.

Only Lauren Silberman was recorded for try outs for the National Football League in 2013.

Currently there are no women athletes playing on any team in the National Football League.

WOMEN IN BASKETBALL:

While there is a professional league for basketball called the WNBA, and women's college basketball there is not a women athlete that plays in the National Basketball Association.

Denise Long was the first recorded women drafted to the NBA in 1969, and Lucy Harris was drafted to the New Orleans Jazz in 1977.

Currently there are no women athletes playing in the National Basketball League.

WOMEN IN BASEBALL:

While there is college baseball and softball women have been a part of American Baseball for many years in American History.

Women had a league called the All American Girls Professional Baseball League that lasted from 1943 to 1954. 

Currently there is no professional baseball league for women and there are no women athletes playing on any team in the Major League Baseball.

WOMEN IN HOCKEY:

The NHL does have a women's league called National Women's Hockey League. However it has been suspended for 2021 season due to Covid-19.

As far as a women playing in the current NHL there are no women athletes playing on any team in the National Hockey League.

NASCAR:

Danica Patrick has been the only female driver to grace the NASCAR field. However currently there are women drivers in the sport on various levels of Nascar. Also I should mention that there are several pro Drag Racing women drivers as well.

Currently there are no women drivers in NASCAR however.
