Keto and Healthy Living ( CARBS and CALORIES) by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

WELCOME TO MY KETO AND HEALTHY LIVING BLOG!

Though my wife Annie and I have choose to go to a KETO LIFESTYLE  not everyone can do KETO.
So I decided that my blogs would discuss ways to eat better and use food to improve all of out lives and be happier plus healthier humans.
If you follow my blogs they will be a lot about Keto but I also include non KETO information and provide education and information to help you live a better life through eating food.

CARBOHYDRATES:
Under guidelines set by various government agencies the recommended amount of Carbs should make up from 45 to 65 percent  of your total intake of CALORIES.

It breaks down to about 225 to 325 grams per day of Carbs.

HOW CARBS WORK:

The human body uses Carbs to produce energy however it is broken down to glucose before entering the blood stream. Carbs are also broken down into sugars. As sugar levels raise in the human body the pancreas releases a hormone called insulin. Insulin is needed to move sugar from the blood into the cells where sugar can be used as a source of energy.

Consuming to many Carbs often leads to weight gain and other human diseases and issues.

KETO: The Keto Lifestyle or even if just doing Keto as a diet restricts CARBS to a max of 50 grams per day.

CALORIES:
Under guidelines set by various government agencies males require between 2,000 to 3,000 calories per day, and women require 1,600 to 2,400 Calories per day.

HOW CALORIES WORK:
Your body needs calories for energy. Without calories the human body would not function properly and the organs and cells would stop functioning. Without Calories the human body can not survive.

KETO: The Keto Lifestyle uses good fats at an average of 70 to 80 percent for calories, 5 to 10 percent, from Carbs, and 10 to 20 percent from Protein.
