Happy New Year though ours not so great.We managed to get pretty far today but the Beasty is taking more fuel than originally planned. However we got to a town called Beatty Nevada.

We had a small scare there with our HHR as it had an issue starting after we got gas but we managed to ger the HHR going we callhim Rover.

Yes we name our vehicles..ok deal with it!

Than the worst happened 61 miles outside on Vegas Beasty decided to blow a belt and a transmission line.

I managed to fix the line and get transmission fluid in and thank GOD Beasty decided to move on down the road.

However I am driving Beasty without a belt that goes to a pump and the power stering so we manage to get to vegas and pulled over.

After sever hours of me attempting to fix the belt it is a no go.

We are stuck in parking lot where this nice man name butch offers us to park at his home and plug into electric.

We end up day 2 stuck in Vegas and at this mans home .
