Kicking off Survivor Series on November 19th 2017 here is my recap of matches and review of the show and predictions of where WWE is planning to go down the road to Wrestlemania. Also results of my odds and a count of Raw vs Smackdown matches.
MATCH RECAPS OF SURVIVOR SERIES:
NEW DAY VS SHIELD:
New Day comes to the ring and talks a lot and WWE hits more promos. Shield comes from the rafters as normal. The match starts and we get a short preview of Reigns and Big E. The match is pretty even until Big E spears Ambrose. New Day took control of the match at this point. Reigns hit his Superman punch but Reigns wasted to much time waiting for Kingston to stand up. Rollins than nearly pinned Kingston but Xavier saves the match. Shield was about to the famous power bomb but New Day Takes out the Shield with authority. Big E get Rollins and Ambrose on shoulders and double move by Kingston and Xavier. Reigns saves the match. Shield Win the match with a Triple Powerbomb from top rope.
WINNERS: SHIELD RAW 1 SMACKDOWN 0
RAW WOMEN VS SMACKDOWN WOMEN:
Smackdown women come down first and than Raw women make an entrance. The entrances and promos seemed long. Lynch and Fox start the match. Bailey tagged in and pinned Lynch. Natyla comes in as Raw 5 to 4 in the match. Tamina was in for a while but tagged out to Natyla. Carmilla tags Tamina and pinnes Bailey. Raw 4 and Smackdown 4. Jax steps in with Tamina. Jax nails Lana and Tmaian nails Jax twice with Super Kick and Namoi nails Jax. Jax is eliminated by count out by Tamina Smackdown 4 to Raw 3. Namoi and Fox are in the ring. Fox was eliminated and Banks eliminates Namoi. Carmellia and Asuka. Asuka takes out Smackdown on her own. Asuka pins Natalya to win and last Soul Survivor.
WINNERS: RAW WOMEN RAW 2 SMACKDOWN 0
Stephanie McMahon and Daniel Braynt are shown going back and forth. I do have to say it was at least kept cordial. Questions came about John Cena on Smackdown and not Raw.
BARON CORBIN US CHAMPION vs MIZ INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION:
Mauryce is shown at the match and Bo Dallas and Curtis Axle are at ring side for Raw. The Miz team already affecting the match. Corbin takes a moment to stalk Mauryce at ringside. The crowd chants and Corbin has Miz in trouble but the interference of Curtis Axle helps the Miz. Bo Dallas also gets involved on the outside of the ring. Miz got the figure 4 hold but Corbin get out. Corbin takes out Bo Dallas and Curtis Axle and this helps the Miz. Miz does the Miz kicks. Corbin nails End of Days and wins the match.
WINNER: BARON CORBIN RAW 2 SMACKDOWN 1
CEASRO AND SHAMUES VS USOS RAW AND SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS:
I loved the Mohawk on Shamues. Usos unload on Shamues. Ceasro tags in and the match seems pretty even so far. The crowd seems really quiet the most was Booker T and commentators talking during the match. The match goes outside the ring. As they comes back in the ring the crowd finally gets into it chanting Usos. The match heats up with some big moves on both sides. Ceasro gets the Sharpshooter on Usos but Jay gets out. The Bar nearly gets a pin but Usos stay in it. Usos nearly get a pin after a top rope suplex. Crowd chants THIS IS AWESOME. Usos win over The Bar with super kicks to Shamues.
WINNER: USOS RAW 2 SMACKDOWN 2
ALEXA BLISS RAW WOMAN CHAMPION VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR SMACKDOWN WOMAN CHAMPION:
I like Flair saying here I am to Bliss before match starts. Flair invites Bliss back in the ring. Flair and Bliss going back and forth in the match. Bliss takes over in the match. The match goes in and out of the ring. Bliss takes control with a submission move on Flair. Bliss attempts cover Flair. Flair gets out but hits her head on the corner pads. Bliss goes after Flair turns it around and tosses Bliss into the corner. Flair had tried to go to top rope but Bliss stopped Flair and goes to the top herself but Flair gets up. Bliss answers almost every move from Flair. Bliss gets a good submission on Flair but Flair turns it around and nearly pinned Bliss. Crowd finally gets motivated and chants. Flair nailed the Natural Selection but Bliss kicks out. Flair misses off the top rope as Bliss moved. Bliss nearly pins Flair and Bliss looks very angry. Flair spears Bliss and both are on mat. Bliss go after Flair again. Flair gets Bliss in her move and Bliss taps out!
WINNER: FLAIR RAW 2 SMACKDOWN 3
BROCK LESNAR RAW WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION VS AJ STYLES WWE CHAMPION:
As Lesnar enters the ring you see the size difference between AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman of course had to steal a mic. Crowd chants AJ Styles. Lesnar goes after Styles and it looks bad right off. Lesnar dragged AJ across the ring to the corner. Lesnar gets the first suplex on AJ. Lesnar goes to second suplex to AJ. AJ is out of ring and ref counts but Lesnar goes after AJ. Lesnar get the third suplex to AJ. Lesnar knees AJ in corner. Lesnar calls to AJ to fight but Lesnar gets shocked by AJ. After all that AJ gets Lesnar to the mat. AJ takes it to Lesnar and the crowd is stunned. AJ hits Lesnar in back of neck and AJ attempts the elbow off the ropes but Lesnar hits Suplex 4. AJ goes outside the ring. AJ slams Lesnar into steps. AJ elbows Lesnar. AJ bringing it to Lesnar and nearly pins Lesnar. AJ turns f-5 to Cat Crusher to Lesnar. Lesnar just slams AJ to the mat to get out. AJ goes for the pin again after an forearm. Lesnar hit the F-5 and wins.
WINNER: LESNAR RAW 3 SMACKDOWN 3
RAW TEAM VS SMACKDOWN TEAM:
Of course it took forever to get everyone in the last match. Strowman looks to start the match with Shane MvMahon. Shane attacked Strowman but tags out to Orton and Samoa Joe comes in with Orton. Balor tags in but Nakamura wants in and Orton tags him. Balor and Nakmura but Balor tags Triple H. Nakmura calls out Triple H. Roode tags in with Triple H. Triple H mocking Roode but Roode fights back and Angle tags in. Angle just tagged Strowman and Nakumura is pinned. Roode comes in Roode is gone. Angle and Triple H and Raw team breaks down. Strowman is back in. Cena and Orton go after Strowman but Strowman is slammed by all 5 Blue members. Joe in the ring and Shane gets Cena. Raw team breaks down and Cena gets Joe. Angle tags in with Cena recall RUTHLESS AGGRESSION!
Cena does the you can not see me but Angle gets Cena in his lock but Shane saves Cena and Balor helps and Angle pins Cena. Balor steps in and Nails Shane. Orton nails Balor with an RKO. Triple H steps in with Orton. Owens and Zayne attack Shane McMahon. Shane attacks Owens and Zayne. Strowman tags back in. Orton is eliminated. Shane is left against Triple H and Angle and Strowman. Triple H tags in. Than Angle tags in. Shane gets in the ring and Angle get the angle lock. Triple H Pedigrees Angle and lets Shane cover him. Triple H stand by Shane and Strowman looks confused. Triple H takes out Shane McMahon.
WINNERS: RAW RAW 4 SMACKSOWN 3
Strowman gets Triple H in a hold and Tells Triple H if he ever plays the game and Strowman slams the Game to the match. Than Strowman slams Triple H again and rips off his Raw Shirt.
