Some MMA stars may choose wrestling over MMA

As of recently the WWE has been cutting cost and releasing some wrestlers. WWE in an attempt to spike the revenues and increase the stock on the NYSE.

WWE is currently at around $27.00.

This year WWE suffered a lot of set backs this year as many of the wrestling entertainers that founded the WWE have been retired or left the industry to injuries, and motley crew of wrestling entertainers have left the WWE for other opportunities. This has left WWE with several issues including the fuel behind the company entertaining the fans. WWE has had to rely on wrestling entertainers on a part time bases. The flagship shows Raw and Smackdown  both have suffered for it.

WWE has been the king of the business for years having little or no rival since the WCW days but this is all about to change as several new wrestling companies are on the rise. In January of 2018 Raw will celebrate 25 years on TV, and Smackdown is not far behind with 18 years.

However new wrestling companies are emerging and independent circuits are stealing away WWE stars. Companies like New Japan Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, and Ring of Honor all ready to stand up against the WWE. How are these other smaller wrestling companies doing it?

Recently former MMA stars Bobby Lashley, King Mo Kawak, Stephan Bonnar, and Colby Covinton appeared on a pay per view for Impact Wrestling. Impact wresting added in story lines for all these former MMA stars.

In the past WWE has had Brock Lesnar the current WWE Universal Champion also involved in the UFC and was a MMA Champion in that company. WWE lost CM Punk to the UFC as well, So sometimes wrestlers flip to the MMA style as well but it seems more MMA fighters are turning to wresting.

WWE may be adding another female UFC fighter named ROUNDY ROUSEY who currently is training in the WWE Performance Center and rumors have it she will be making an appearance for a Wrestle mania Match in April 2018.

Will more MMA stars cross over into the Wrestling Entertainment Industry and is WWE finally going to get some head to head competition form smaller wresting companies?
