With all of the diet information and false information out there, it's hard to tell what to believe.

For me, the scare of diabetes was worse then anything. Most people think they can take insulin and continue eating the same as before. My brother was one of these. But after seeing his struggle I knew that changing my diet was the only way to go.

I had tried several diets in the past. I lost some weight juicing. But the weight came back, and I was always starving. I tried low fat everything and was constantly binge eating. I thought I was hypoglycemic and had to eat several meals to keep my blood sugar up. This too was more misinformation, which was given to me by one of my doctors.

The day I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, my doctor told me to lose weight, eat low fat, calorie restrict and exercise more. I couldn't breath. I was in constant pain. I was always exhausted. I was always hungry. When following my doctor's advice nothing changed. 

So I googled "reverse my diabetes", and what came up was The Ketogenic Lifestyle! The only proven diabetes reversal and millions of people have done it. But the key was to push out all of the previous advice and re-educate yourself.

I watched FAT FICTION and FAT, a documentary. These videos gave me an eye opener. I found real doctor's that specialized in Heart, Kidneys, and Blood Sugar with dietdoctor.com.

You are probably wondering why you should try living a Ketogenic Lifestyle. You maybe a skeptical like I was. But I didn't want to lose my life, independence or have my health worsen. I felt like I couldn't do worse. I  figured if a million people who weren't  celebrities and weren't out to get rich were sharing their success on social media, why not try it. 

Once I tried it, the weight started falling off. My energy went through the roof. I felt full. In two weeks there was a huge difference. My blood sugar began to regulate and so did my blood pressure. In four months my A1C was normal. I got it into my head that I could never go back to all of the bad, so it's been two years and I  look at the food I used to eat as poison.


I got better and my brother got worse. He wouldn't try to help himself. He saw all of my success. He told me how proud he was of me and how beautiful I become. But he wouldn't try it for himself. In five years he started insulin injections. His feet started getting ulcers. They slowly deteriorated. He had nerve pain that was unmanageable. Finally he lost his feet. A 400 lb. 6'6 man became wheel chair bound and needed a caregiver. Next he lost sight in one eye. He had to have a stint put in his heart. Then he was put on dialysis three times a week. In five years he went from diagnosis to dying from type 2 diabetes.

Living a Ketogenic Lifestyle has saved my life. It has saved the lives of countless people around the world. I am proof that it works. But don't take my word for it.
