Keto and Healthy Living ( DISEASES THAT CAN BE PREVENTED OR REVERSED BY EATING GOOD FOOD) by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
Welcome to my Keto and Healthy Living Blog.
I have written many blogs on our KETO LIFESTYLE and HEALTHY LIVING however many people still do not believe the food you eat can change your entire life plus your HEALTH and HAPPINESS.
I decided to do something different in this blog instead of me telling you our story, or pushing KETO or even HEALTHY LIVING I will give you resources and studies that prove food can change your life!
In the USA more than 1.6 million people are diagnosed with CANCER every year and an estimated 600,000 people die from CANCER every year.
It has been proven in research and studies that food can help prevent CANCER!
Do not take my word for it as The American Cancer Society posted this:
Research is being done on the potential cancer-preventing properties of certain vegetables and fruits (or groups of these), including dark green and orange vegetables, cruciferous vegetables (such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts), soy products, legumes, allium vegetables (onions and garlic), and tomato products.
Vegetables and fruits may also lower cancer risk by their effects on calorie intake and body weight. Many vegetables and fruits are low in calories and high in fiber, as well as having a high water content. This may help lower overall calorie intake, and thus help with weight loss and keeping unwanted weight off.
Eating plenty of vegetables and fruits has also been linked with a lower risk of other chronic diseases, especially heart disease.
For cancer risk reduction, the ACS advises following the US Dietary Guidelines, which is to consume at least 2½ to 3 cups of vegetables and 1½ to 2 cups of fruit each day, depending on a person’s calorie requirements.
In the USA more than 34 million people have DIABETES and about 90 to 95% have Type 2 DIABETES. This disease is ranked the 6th leading cuase for death accounting for 225,000 deaths per year. Diabetes also is linked to heart disease and strokes.
The American Diabetes Assocation posted this:
Regardless of what cuisine you prefer, here's what all healthy eating plans have in common. They include:
- Fruits and vegetables
- Lean meats and plant-based sources of protein
- Less added sugar
- Less processed foods
This was posted from American Heary Disease Foundation:
The best diet for preventing heart disease is one that is full of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, fish, poultry, and vegetable oils.
Okay so here is the thing you can give me your reasons and the excuses but the fact is eating good food impacts your HEALTH and HAPPINESS in LIFE!
