Smackdown review and recap 1/23 by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
Smackdown opens with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn talking in the ring about the YEP movement. As AJ Styles calls them KAMI!
As AJ Styles comes out during the speech from KAMI. So they play back footage and ask AJ to wrestle each of them in the ring one after the other As Owens attempts to talk AJ into a double match. Daniel comes out and says they are right about how good they are as wrestlers. AJ says to Daniel he may be in bed with Owens and Zayn. AJ agrees to do the matches.
Daniel is in the back with Shane McMahon and the heat is getting hotter between Daniel and Shane.
Tye Dillinger enters the Rumble. As the match goes on with Naomi and Liv the rest of the women come out to the ring. As the attack happens Lynch clears the ring but Natalya dumps a few over the ropes and turns on her own squad. Becky and Naomi as Flair comes out.
During the match with Corbin and Nakamura Randy Orton Rko'd both of them so the match ended in DQ. After the match Smackdown recaps the Raw show.
New Day all say they are in the rumble..Xavier Woods, Big E, Kofi Kingston.
Shane comes out and puts the law down that Owens and Sami cannot go near the ring tonight or they are fired on the spot. As commercials come Owens and Sami say Daniel said it was ok. Sami comes out immediately and attacks AJ even though the match did not officially start.Sami keeps attacking AJ and where is Shane at this moment. They show Daniel and Shane in back doing nothing but watching the screen. They could have came out and stopped Sami. After the commercials the ref ask AJ if he wants to go and AJ agrees. Kevin is near the ring and Shane did say if he was there he would be fired. AJ attacks Kevin Owens and Sami takes advantage.
After a hard match crowd chants AJ STYLES. Than the crowd chants THIS IS AWESOME!
AJ than tosses Owens on the floor again and Sami nails AJ and wins the match.
NOTES FOR TONIGHT:
Noticed the split screen not used that much tonight!
