Raw 25th Anniversary Review and Recap
So Raw kicks off with both Stephanie and Shane McMahon in the ring together.
The show comes from New York. As Shane thanks wrestlers and staff of the WWE.
Also they thank the fans because after all with No Fans No Raw!
As they show some of the favorite Raw 25 Year Anniversary clips.
Recently the company has managed to move the stock value up as well after nearly 5 years of around $20 to $22 the WWE stock closed today on Wall Street at $33.47.
Stephanie and Shane McMahon bring out Vince McMahon. Vince comes out to cheering crowd. Vince in the ring and says he is going to smell the roses and attempts to leave but his kids try to give Vince a plague with a Go Fund Me account apparently!
Vince says the plague feels cheap and the fans chant YES!
The crowd chants ASSHOLE as Vince thanks himself. All the sudden Stone Cold Music hits and outcomes Stone Cold Steve Austin. The crowd goes ballistic as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon are in the same ring. After a few drinks and some hugs Stone Cold drops Shane McMahon and Vince has 2 beers in his hand and gives one to Stone Cold..
Crowd chants One More Time as Vince says Shane can not take any more from Stone Cold.
Just as Vince decides to leave Stone Cold flips off Vince and Drops Vince McMahon. Than he hands Shane McMahon a beer and drops Shane McMahon again.
After the tag match Auska tossed her teammates over the ropes.
In the back office of Kurt Angle other stars show up like Harvey and the Brooklyn Brawler plus Brother Love appears with Teddy Long. Than the Boogie Man shows up as well.
After commercials and a few promos they go directly to The Undertaker. The bells sound as the entrance of the Undertaker enters the area. Fans chant Undertaker. Undertaker makes a speech but I think many were hoping he would enter the Rumble.
APA is the back playing cards with Rhyno and Heath Slater and the Million Dollar Man tosses some cash on the table. Former General Managers John Laurinaitis , William Regal, Eric Bishop, and Daniel Bryan. As the Miz walks past Daniel they go toe to toe.
As we come back to the poker game more stars like Jeff Hardy but in the ring and Christian is in the ring for the Peep Show. As he brings out Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins. The fans really do not like Jordan as they boo him. However The Bar music comes on and The Bar come to the ring. The Bar tells Jordan he sucks and gets the crowd into it. However in the mix of the battle Rollins nails Jordan with a knee.
Alexa Bliss in the interview and is asked if she is going to be the Champion at WrestleMania as Flair shows up. Ric Flair walks around his daughter and tells Bliss Charlotte will be Champion till she hangs up her rope.
Going back to the poker game Natalya and Dana Brooke are shown as Bray Wyatt comes out at the Manhattan ring. Matt Hardy comes to the ring.
Raw brings out former female wrestlers and announcers Bella Twins, Jacqueline, Torrie Wilson, Lila Garcia, Michelle McCool, Mayrce, Terri Runnels, Maria Kanellis, Trish Stratus.
Elais is shown walking to the ring as Chris Jericho is in the back. Chris ask if he can play a song. As he adds Elais to the list. Elais is in the ring about to do a song. Elias says Jimmy Fallon is in the crowd. I wish we could skip the songs as John Cena music hits and he comes to the ring. Cena tells Elais to do something about it and Elias attempts to attack him but Cena gets Elias. Elais does a low blow. Elias brings a quitar and uses it on the back of Cena. Elias than hits Cena again in the ring before he leaves.
The poker game going on still in the back area is attracting the New Day, Titus, and Apollo. The Million Dollar Man seems to be winning as Titus and Apollo and Rhyno and Heath Slater headed to the ring with Dana Brooke.
Mark Henry and the Godfather are shown in the back area. The Godfather settled down with a wife.
As the Dudley Boyz come out during the Tag match they all toss in Slater as he gets hammered by the Dudley Boyz. Than the crowd ask for tables and Dudley Boyz toss him into table. As AJ Styles is brought to Raw and adds Mean Gene. Aj still calling them KAMI!
At Manhattan again here comes the DX GENERATION. D'Generation X consisted of Triple H and Shawn Michaels mostly but later added x-Pac, The New Age Outlaws.
Triple H did hit on the head saying the fans make WWE.
As Razor Ramon comes out to the ring they go to commercials.
Finn Balor and Anderson and Gallows come out and enter the ring.
As the Revival after the match go to attack Razor but meet DX in a bad way.
Back at the other ring Kurt Angle comes with a bunch of legends and wrestlers and refs to the ring. The end of Raw brought out Strowman, Kane and Lesnar. As Lesnar tried to take out Strowman it all backfires and Lesnar goes through the table and Kane ends up on the floor.
Some major notes No new announcements for the rumble on the women or men!
