Divisional Playoffs odds and predictions by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
Wild Card weekend proved to be interesting as the dogs showed up on Saturday with both the Titans and Falcons both winning games, and on Sunday the Jaguars and Saints moved onward to the divisional games this coming Saturday 12th and Sunday January 13th.
DIVISIONAL GAMES:
Saturday 12th:
Falcons vs Eagles
Titans vs Patriots
Sunday 13th:
Jaguars vs Steelers
Saints vs Vikings
NEVADA SPORTS BOOKS ODDS:
Falcons -3
Patriots -13 1/2
Steelers -7 1/2
Vikings -3 1/2
Conference Title Odds:
AFC: Patriots 4/7, Steelers 2/1, Jaguars 8/1, Titans 25/1
NFC: Vikings 7/5, Saints 11/4, Falcons 15/4, Eagles 5/1
SUPER BOWL ODDS:
Patriots 7/4, Vikings 15/4, Steelers 6/1, Saints 13/2, Falcons 8/1, Eagles 12/1, Jaguars 16/1, Titans 40/1
THE OUTLAW PREDICTIONS:
As I would expect most people and Nevada books are leaning toward a New England Patriots vs Minnesota Vikings for the Super Bowl. It is reflected in the odds above as well.
Can the Titans derail the Patriots?
In theory the Patriots should have an game where as they should be the team who wins the game but stranger things have happened in the NFL. Though I do not believe the Titans should win I would wager the point spread at +13 1/2.
MY PICK: PATRIOTS to win but not cover spread.
Can the Eagles win with the current QB situation?
The odds are all on the Falcons even though Eagles play at home. I am sticking with the Eagles it is not just the QB that wins a game!
MY PICK: EAGLES
Can the JAGUARS surprise us all?
Ben Roethlisberger wanted to play the Jaguars so here we are. The Jaguars are going to be going against a lot of offensive weapons so defense is all I can say. I am going against the grain on this one.
MY PICK: JAGUARS
Are the Vikings all that?
Yes they are and the Saints I believe will need more than lucky plays.
MY PICK: VIKINGS to win the game but not cover spread.
