So I find myself walking around Lowes and Walmart in the first few days of October and I notice the sections for HALLOWEEN are small and the stores already have tons of Christmas stuff out. I ask myself what is the story here?  Why are retail stores pouncing on Christmas so early? HERE IS THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION: THE RETAIL INDUSTRY IS BANKING ON CHRISTMAS SALES AND MONEY. Researching the reports from consumer and government agencies last year in 2024 Halloween drove in 11.6 billion in revenue sales, This was down from 2023 that drove in 12.3 billion in revenue sales. Compared to the Christmas that drove in 994.1 billion dollars and this was up 4% from 2023. Online sales for Christmas also rose from 2023 to 2024 by 8.6 % reaching close to 296 billion dollars. You can download an app on your phone or sign up online, after that you set up an account and you can BID on thousands of items listed daily. i had written a prior blog on the company you can read below. READ THE FINE PRINT ON FEES AND EXTRA COST TO THE FINAL PRICE: As soon as I won the first item I found out that JUST BID adds extra fees to the final price. September 1st to 7th  photos: C Street or Commercial Street:  This street has a long history starting in the 1800's after the railroad companies started coming to Springfield. The area boomed till 1960 but started to decline that year. The area was declared a Local History District in 1978. It was added to the National History Register of Historic Places in 1983. Today you can find many small businesses, food places, and markets and events in this area. Maverick Gas Stations: This company is relatively new to Springfield buying out the old Kim and Go gas stations in 2023.      THE OUTLAW WRESTLING CLUB WILL BE SHUT DOWN ON AUGUST 31st 2025 I want to thank everyone who followed us for 4 years on Spotify with my co-host Lonnie WIllis aka The Whispering Eagle. We ran a weekly Podcast from 2020 to 2023 on Spotify called T HE OUTLAW WRESTLING CLUB. We had a lot of fun including having some entertainers from the WWE and other wrestling companies as guest, weekly talk shows on the WWE and story lines. However jumping to today the WWE has changed a lot. The WWE was sold to the UFC and a new company was born in  the stock called TKO, since the takeover TKO Stock has soared today ranging around $180 per share today. They began to change other things taking MONDAY NIGHT RAW off USA NETWORK moving it to NETFLIX. To watch MONDAY NIGHT RAW you had to pay NETFLIX at least $7 per month.  This is  a new idea in the world of POKEMON and other collectibles where you draw cards ONLINE. LINK TO BOXGG HERE  Boxgg.com is a web page that developed a way to pull cards online through mystery boxes. So you can go check it out on the link above but I am not giving this a very good review. I decided to try the company out to see if I even liked it and my thoughts are that I believe it is too expensive and the draws are terrible. On top of that to get cards they charge you even more to ship them. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE: I found this to be interesting at first so I did sign up and it seemed fun at first. However after the bells and whistles of signing up you must deposit money into the account. So I decided I would try just $20. There are not a lot of explanations on how the mystery boxes work. I thought you bought a box and it revealed what was inside. This is not how it works however you have to buy each item in the box and you can buy up to 5 items at a time. The pr...
