Welcome to my PODCAST called the OUTLAW PODCAST. After years of doing sports and wrestling the PODCAST has turned to something else. Today I involve much of my own life into the PODCAST. I still love sports and wrestling but times have changed and as a smaller company we are changing as well.

I may still do some sports  or pro wrestling shows but at this time I have turned the PODCAST in a new direction. The podcast is about different things I am passionate about and some things I just feel you will find interesting or educational. The Podcast is based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES and KNOWLEDGE so this may help you in your struggles.

As one of my first projects and series I am doing  THE OUTLAW SIDE HUSTLE.

Independent Contractor, Delivery Driver or People Transport :

This is one of the most popular SIDE HUSTLES out there today.

Here are some researched reported facts I found out about some of the top companies that offer SIDE HUSTLES:

In 2024 DOOR-DASH had an estimated 42 million Independent Contractors in the USA, 

In 2024 LYFT had an estimated 44 million annual riders.

In 2024 UBER who does both People and Food under Uber Eats reported 156 million people used the People Transportation and 95 million users used the food delivery.

Since 2021 WALMART also started a home delivery and today reaches an estimated 94 percent of all households in the USA, and the company is estimated to reach 95% soon.

Another company called Amazon has also joined the delivery having around 160 to 180 million Prime Members.

Here is the good news this type of SIDE HUSTLE does not really require any type of up front investment. For the most part you can sign up over an app on your phone. You will need a vehicle, drivers license, and car insurance however.

WHAT DOES INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR MEAN?

All these companies have one thing in common YOU ARE NOT AN EMPLOYEE!

You will be called an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.

All these companies have some similarities in the fact that they offer you SELF EMPLOYMENT through signing an Independent Contractor agreement with them. What this means is you will be paid by the company for the work you do but the company will not withhold STATE or GOVERNMENT Taxes, Social Security, or Unemployment Benefits.

Also you will be in charge of your work hours, and jobs you accept. Also you will be in charge of car insurance and maintenance, and fuel cost. There may be some additional benefits offered but almost none of these companies offer health insurance, 401 k, or added benefits of regular employment.

Also as a contractor the companies can end the contract if you do not live up to doing the work. You will be able to choose your own hours and be able to choose your own jobs .However many of these companies rely on reviews from customers, and require you to complete assignments.

HOW AM I PAID?

All of these companies pay through apps, some pay daily ,some weekly. Some of the companies allow tips from customers that can be cashed in daily. A few of the companies offer debit cards that can be transferred from the main account to the debit card. You can also set up transfers directly to a bank account.
