Inside.Out Missouri (What is there to do in Springfield in the WINTER TIME?)

Here we are going into November in the Ozarks and the weather is definitely changing to the colder side. So many of the Outside adventures may be off the table. You're not gonna want to float down a river or go camping in a tent most likely. So what else can you do in and around the area.

Springfield area is known for many OUTDOOR adventures including many lakes and parks, If you are brave enough to face the cold the Dickerson Zoo is open through the winter. 

There also is a drive through Safari just outside of Springfield in Strafford.

BASS PRO is a major store and also has the aquarium called  Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife on the property.

INDOOR FLEA MARKETS AND ANTIQUE SHOPS:

There are several indoor flea markets around Springfield including the following that I am aware of:

Also only about 45 minutes to an hour away is BRANSON MISSOURI

Some of the things do close in Branson during the winter months however.

 There is a theme park called SILVER DOLLAR CITY.

Another popular area is called the BRANSON LANDING but many of the activities are outdoors.
