Welcome to my PODCAST called the OUTLAW PODCAST. After years of doing sports and wrestling the PODCAST has turned to something else. Today I involve much of my own life into the PODCAST. I still love sports and wrestling but times have changed and as a smaller company we are changing as well.

I may still do some sports  or pro wrestling shows but at this time I have turned the PODCAST in a new direction. The podcast is about different things I am passionate about and some things I just feel you will find interesting or educational. The Podcast is based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES and KNOWLEDGE so this may help you in your struggles.

As one of my first projects and series I am doing  THE OUTLAW SIDE HUSTLE.

WHAT IS A VENDOR:

You are considered a vendor or business if you sell a service or product. The difference between a Vendor and RETAILER is that VENDORS often sells the product or service at events like flea markets, local community events, or operates from home. To be a vendor you will need a business licence, and you will need to establish yourself online as well. You will need to find events or places to sell your service or products. some vendors do this locally but some vendors travel all over the USA doing events. Some vendors offer a product that is home made, and others venture into a service or product offered by a franchise or buys into a company that offers the service or product.

BUYING INTO A MLM or INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTORSHIP:

Most likely at one time or another you have ventured into a flea market, or local community event and at these events you have walked around and noticed different VENDORS set up offering a service or product. Sometimes VENDORS can be selling a variety of products including: baked goods, jewelry, candles, soaps, trading cards,  food, drinks, clothing, hand made specialty items, cookware, perfume and colones, scented products, and various other products.

Some companies offer what is called a BUY IN or purchase of a MLM or DIRECT SALES COMPANIES or you purchase a START UP with the company. You own the business but you have an exclusive contract to that company's BRAND and PRODUCTS. When you buy into the MLM you get inventory with the original buy in. You will continue to buy and sell products from this company.

They do not however book events, or sell the products or service for you, You must still find events and sell the product or service yourself.

HERE ARE SOME COMPANIES YOU CAN LOOK INTO:

Damsel in Defense, Amway, Herbalife, LuLaRoe, Mary Kay, Avon, Scentsy, and The Pampered Chef

OPERATING YOUR OWN SERVICE OR PRODUCT:

Another way to go if you want to sell your own products or service is to operate the business on your own. This often involves making or selling a product or service that you have created. There are again many different types of ideas and products or services you can venture into. I myself last year got into selling POKEMON CARDS and MERCHANDISE.

I have a small company called THE POKEMON RUN (CLICK HERE)

DO I NEED A BUSINESS LICENSE TO BE A VENDOR:

YES you will need a business license you can look into that through your local City or State Business License Department. HERE IS THE LINK TO MISSOURI (CLICK HERE)

Many of the PROMOTERS or COMPANIES that operate events will require a copy of your business license. Depending on the event you may also be required to have insurance. It is best to ask questions about the event and what your requirements will be in doing the event.

MONEY IN and MONEY OUT or PROFITS or LOSSES:

In this type of side hustle there is going to be an initial investment required. If you decide to BUY IN a MLM or do something on your own. First of all if you BUY into a MLM you will need the money for that. The amount needed you will need to investigate that yourself.

Doing something on your own will still require some investment money to start the business.

To really determine how much money you will need to invest to start you will need to research things like a business license, insurance, making or buying inventory, fees for events, displays, booth set ups, and some other information.

This type of SIDE HUSTLE may have more money out at first than coming in.

Also you have to be ready not to sell anything or find a person to provide a service for.  This type of venture has a lot of risk in it , and you should be ready to expect more money out in the beginning.

However these types of ventures or SIDE HUSTLES can turn into some profitable ventures.
