Keto and Healthy Living ( CHOLESTEROL and FATTY LIVER) by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
Hello and welcome to my blog about our Keto Lifestyle and Healthy Living.
Once again I am doing this blog a little different because I feel the truth needs to be put out there and with many health care professionals and health care providers that are giving us the wrong information or do not research how food can actually help cure and prevent diseases.
It also just kinda irritates me the wrong way that health care providers get it so wrong.
One of the people in the group contacted me and told me a health care professional told them Keto attributed to Cholesterol and a Fatty Liver and recommended they stop doing Keto.
My blogs are meant to help people on a journey to a happier & healthy life through just eating foods!
So Annie and I opened up a Keto Facebook Group (CLICK if you want to check it out.)
WHAT IS CHOLESTEROL:
Is a fat like substance that is found in all cells in the human body.
THE FACTS:
In studies with people living the Keto Lifestyle again and again showed the Keto Lifestyle has a positive affect on Cholesterol in the human body. What most health care providers think is because Keto does raise the Cholesterol levels in the human body it is bad,
Health care providers thought and some still think Keto attributes to High Cholesterol.
However it has been proven that Keto helps improve heart health, metabolic health, and affects Cholesterol in a positive way.
Where the confusion is for most is the difference between Bad and Good Cholesterol. While your levels will go up while on Keto it is a good Cholesterol. HDL is good Cholesterol that is produced when on Keto.
This type of Cholesterol can help prevent heart attacks and strokes.
WHAT IS A FATTY LIVER:
The Liver helps your body digest food, store energy, and remove poisons. A fatty liver means that fat builds up in your liver. When fat builds up ion the Liver to much it can create a lot of medical issues.
THE FACTS:
So this answer is a bit mixed in studies it came out a 50/50 split.
In 1/2 the studies the people on Keto found that the Keto Lifestyle could lead to a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, but in the other 1/2 of the people in the study showed health improvements with people that had fatty liver disease.
The Keto Lifestyle includes fish and fish is listed as one of the best foods to fight fatty liver disease. Also increasing fiber into your diet.
Ir was shown in multiple studies
that the KETO LIFESTYLE was the best way to prevent and fight Fatty Liver Disease.
ANOTHER BONUS:
In booth studies and research done the KETO LIFESTYLE once again proved to help fight and even cure Diabetes, Obesity, and Heart Disease.
In closing it is important to consult a health care provider to monitor your health however you should do research of your own many health care providers do not study nutrition and many do not study or research KETO LIFESTYLES or HEALTHY LIVING.
