Inside/Out Missouri ( What is there to do in Springfield MO on a Sunday)

                   WELCOME TO INSIDE/OUT MISSOURI

Annie and I started this idea many years ago we wanted to do a show about TRAVELING!

We want to bring you VIDEOS, BLOGS, and REVIEWS.

We want to share our ADVENTURES WITH YOU!

We did start the project you can find the link to YOUTUBE HERE and to our FACEBOOK HERE.

I have always kinda gone against the grain with anything I do, but this project got pushed to the side. We did videos, we blogged, we brought you some pretty cool adventures but we really never pushed the envelope to see how far it could go.

SO WE ARE HOPING YOU WILL FOLLOW/ LIKE /SUBSCRIBE to INSIDE/OUT MISSOURI

Sundays in the Ozarks can be a bit slower and many companies close on Sundays here in the Ozarks. We found a few things you may want to explore if you're wanting to get out of the house and go exploring. A lot of these places you can do on other days of the week as well.

BIKE/WALK THE MANY TRAILS AROUND SPRINGFIELD MO:

Weather permitting of course Springfield is loaded with walking trails throughout the city and around the city.

Here are a few of my favorites:

FRISCO HIGHLINE TRAIL is 35 miles going from Springfield to Bolivar.

WILSON CREEK TRAILS these go all over Springfield and can be quite an adventure.

SPRINGFIELD CONSERVATION NATURE CENTER has 79 acres and various trails for different levels of walks.

EVENTS:

Many events do not run on Sundays here in the Ozarks but sometimes you can find an event that is open on Sundays.

FLEA MARKETS:

One thing Annie and I found is Flea Markets here in Missouri operate on a whole new level. Markets here are in large buildings with 200 to 500 booths inside. Some of the Flea Markets stay open Sundays giving you time to find that mystery item you wanted or just go browse the market because most likely you will find something.

HERE ARE A FEW THAT ARE OPEN SUNDAYS:

Timeless Flea Market open 9AM to 5PM at 2743 W Kearny St

STD Flea Market open 10AM to 6PM at 1820 E Trafficway

Relics Antique Mall open 12PM to 6PM at 2015 W Battlefield

FIND ROUTE 66 ATTRACTIONS:

Springfield is the hub of Route 66 and there are several attractions to find in and around Springfield. If you really want to make a full day of it I would suggest going from Joplin to Saint Louis. This will be about a 5 hour car ride but there are so many stops that you can make a complete day of a Route 66 Adventure.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE ROUTE 66 INFORMATION

You may want to catch this Museum as it is closing in 2027.

It is called Route 66 Car Museum.

It is open Sundays 9AM to 5PM

There are also several Route 66 attractions downtown and on Saint Louis Street in Springfield MO.

You can visit these any day of the week for the most part but all these are open Sundays and give you something to do with family, friends, or group activity. I hope you get to enjoy some or all of these attractions.

We have filmed, done videos, taken photos of some or all of these places you can find them on Facebook or Youtube.
