Coffee in Springfield Missouri ( ARE THERE TO MANY COFFEE PLACES IN SPRINGFIELD MO ?) by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
In 2019 I moved to Springfield Missouri with my family and here I call it home so I have decided to incorporate some of my blogs to local issues, events, business, sports, and local media and news.
Recently in Springfield there has been an exploding amount of Coffee places opening up in the area.
So I had to ask what makes one coffee place better, prices, service, location, and the second thought I had is there to many coffee places in Springfield ?
Scooters Coffee recently opened two locations in Springfield, one on Sunshine, and one on Campbell.
Dunkin Donuts in the process of opening three new locations including the other stores already open in the area.
Starbucks Coffee has several locations around Springfield including locations in some local food stores.
There is also Classic Rock Coffee, Dancing Mule Coffee Company, Roots Coffee Bar, 73 Brew, Churchill Coffee Company, Brick and Mortar Coffee, Echelon Coffee, Tantara Farms, Cooper Canyon Coffee, Rove Coffee, Ozark Mountain Coffee, and more that I have found or may not be listed and also may be in the process of being opened.
What do you look for in the best coffee house, and what brings you to one of these companies above.
Is it prices, is it the customer service, is it the location, or other factors?
Also are there to many coffee places in Springfield MO?
According to Small Business Administration the average coffee shop makes 250 cups a day, and makes a yearly revenue of around $215,000 per year.
In the USA the entire Coffee Industry reported 102.02 Billion Dollars in revenues in 2020.
The average cup of coffee cost around $2,70, however many places specialize in making coffee drinks that are very unique.
One of the more famous and well known coffee places is Starbucks who has stock you can buy on the NYSE currently for $90.97 per share.
Dutch Brothers comes in second however there are no Dutch Brothers in Springfield but you can buy a share on the NYSE for around $57.
As of April 1st 2021 the listed population in Springfield was 353,000 however I do not believe that included bordering cities like Nixa, Republic, and Ozark that are with in 10 miles of Springfield, MO. However those small cities have some coffee shops as well.
Only time will tell if these coffee shops all make a run for it!
