I wrote a lot of blogs in 2020 and 2021 about KETO and HEALTHY LIVING

Annie and I learned new things, educated ourselves and hopefully helped some people get a HAPPIER and HEALTHY life just through eating food!

So our story we are still doing our KETO LIFESTYLE and we both have lost weight, became more healthy, and we both are very happy. 

We are not planning on changing anything about our LIFESTYLE CHOICE!

So in closing 2021 I want to discuss a few MYTHS, UNTRUTHS, TRUTHS, FACTS, EVIDENCE, about KETO and HEALTHY LIVING!

One of the things I mostly notice is people telling my they tried KETO and it did not work. 

I even had a few people tell me they have tried everything and nothing worked for them.

So here is my reply and these answers are backed by research and studies!

LIFESTYLE vs DIET or a TEMPORARY CHANGE:

I wrote a few blogs on this subject the truth and fact is we spend years eating incorrectly.  Both Annie and I are guilty of this. However in our world we want fast results. Keto and Healthy living does not work fast, it takes time to repair and heal your body. The truth and fact is you have to be healthy to be happy!

It takes 2 days for the body to get into KETOSIS and it may take between 10 to 21 days to start losing weight.  If you are in Ketosis you should shed between 1 to 2 pounds per week.

THIS IS WHY I STRESS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE and not a DIET or TEMPORARY CHANGE!

When you change something long term it is something you do everyday it is not a temporary change. Even if you only move to a HEALTHY LIVING LIFESTYLE and not KETO you should make this a long term change!

Why other things never worked it because you started and stopped, it was temporary!

 THE CHEAT DAY:

Sorry but I disagree with a cheat day there are way to many recipes  on KETO or HEALTHY LIVING to need a CHEAT DAY.

Also it means you have to go back and start from scratch, this is another reason many people fail on HEALTHY LIVING or KETO.

In 2022 you can change you can meet your goals but research and studies show it has to be a long term change doing something for a short amount time is going to show results but when you stop the results are most likely going to stop as well.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEALTHY LIVING AND KETO LIFESTYLE?

KETO is a very low carb LIFESTYLE changing how your body burns fat and uses food for nutrition and energy. Normally our bodies produce glucose and insulin when we eat. Glucose is a molecule that is in the human body that converts food into energy for our bodies to function. Insulin is produced by the process of Glucose making it so that the energy can move around the human body.

Keto changes the way the body breaks down fats and energy and nutrition by going into what is called KETOSIS. Ketosis has been proved to help with many health issues in the human body. 

With a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE you may not be in Ketosis but you will be eating healthier foods and watching your carbs and sugar intakes. Foods that may not work like some fruits and vegetables, or dairy products, grains, and other foods you may avoid while in a KETO LIFESTYLE may be used in a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

The difference is how your body is using the food and how your body is distributing the energy, and using the nutrition.

YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES!
