Uber and Lyft WIN the vote in California what is next?

 A win for UBER and LYFT in California as the people voted with around 58% to keep the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS and not make them EMPLOYEES.

VOTERS SPOKE IN CALIFORNIA and UBER and LYFT win in the fact the people feel the Contractors should stay however there is still a lawsuit and court appeal.

The court had gone the other way before the election and had ordered the companies to make the contractors employees.

So does the vote over shadow the court decision?

UBER and LUFT filed an appeal and it was granted on Thursday before the election.

COURT DECISIONS:

So it may take another year do get a final decision i

Unless the court of appeals reverses the decision after the vore than it will be over. 

Uber and Lyft had one year to follow the court order to change the contractors to employees,

Most likely this will go back to the California Supreme Court and the decision will be reversed due to Uber and Lyft winning the vote.

The LAWSUIT:

Added to this there is a lawsuit from the State of California, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco if the court reverses the decision  the lawsuit is most likely done as well.

WHAT IS NEXT:

We will have to wait and see what happens within the next 30 days expect the companies to file an appeal in the court.

With the vote in favor of keeping contractors most likely the appeals court with reverse the lower court decision, and the law suit will have to formatted or dropped.
