Keto and eating healthy for the holidays by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik


Holidays and times where families and friends and relatives get together and have meals that have all the great foods can be a hard time if your trying to eat healthy, diabetic, or attempting to lose weight.

Keto however is all about meats like Turkey, Ham, Beef or Fish so here you may not have to many issues but what about the great stuffing, potatoes, breads, and we certainly can not forget the pies.

Sugar is one big enemy of a Keto Lifestyle or if your a diabetic or if your attempting to lose weight.

Instead of using sugar try one of these Stevia or Monk Fruit.

There also is one called Swerve we have not used it but it has gotten some great reviews.

You should still avoid breads and pastas but there is always KETO BREAD and ways to make pasta from veggies like squash. 

Keto has many recipes out there and if you research you may find ways to limit or reduce sugar and carbs to your favorite pies, or other things you love.

You can stay on your KETO LIFESTYLE or your weight loss plan. It may be helpful if you discuss your food needs with whomever is doing the cooking for the holidays. 

We had to give our daughter ideas on how she could include our Keto Lifestyle into Thanksgiving dinner at her home. It was not really all that hard.

All things are not perfect if you happen to stray a bit the good thing is you can start over again.

The more important part of the holiday is spending the time enjoying the people we love, and enjoying time to give thanks for all the wonderful things in life.
