Who is our President by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

America is currently lead by President Donald Trump until January 20th 2021 when officially the term for Donald Trump would end. This would also be the same for Vice President Mike Pence.

The election however is over and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the electoral votes 290 to 232 over Donald Trump.

This fact is undisputed so far to date.

However Donald Trump is attempting to prove the election was rigged, however to date that effort has all failed in his attempts. 

If it is proven the election was rigged there would be nothing in the Constitution regarding what should happen or whom would be the New President and Vice President.

It most likely would come down to a decision from the US SUPREME COURT in that case.

THE CURRENT SITUATION IS:

Donald Trump and Mike Pence still refuse to concede the election. 

Matter of fact they are believing they will serve a second term however the US CONSTITUTION is quite clear on elections. 

The 12th amendment to the Constitution specifies that the term of each elected President of the United States begins at noon on January 20 of the year following the election. 

Each president must take the oath of office before assuming the duties of the position.

Officially Joe Biden or Kamala Harris do not have any powers to lead the country at this point in time. 

SUPREME COURT CASE:

If Donald Trump and Mike Pence could bring a case against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris it would be possible the Supreme Court could rule Donald Trump and Mike Pence would remain in the position as President and Vice President.

THE NEXT FOUR YEARS:

As far as the next four years there is nothing preventing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris from taking control of the office after January 20th 2021 at this point in time.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence may fight all the way to the end and this could create a real American show down but the fact would be that his term would be over and Donald Trump and Mike Pence would not have any powers over the Government or People.

SO WHO IS THE PRESIDENT?

Currently our President is Donald Trump and the Vice President is Mike Pence.
