Daniel Bryant opens the show coming to the ring. Crowd chants for him. Daniel shows video of Ziggler clip from last Smackdown. Ziggler left the Title in the ring and walked out of the ring. As he says Ziggler relinquished the belt last week. A tournament is made to crown a new Champion.
First Round features Corbin vs Roode and Gable and Benjamin interrupt Daniel. They ask why other teams where in the match. As English interrupts with singing. Crowd chants Rusev Day!
English sings as Rusev and English walk to the ring. Crowd goes crazy chanting Rusev Day again. As Daniel waits on the ropes New Day comes down to the ring tossing Pancakes and Cereal in the crowd. Crowd chants Rusev Day again.

REVIEW OF THE LAST 2017 SMACKDOWN SHOW:
The first match was very exciting and comes back to show Shane McMahon talking to Daniel Bryant. As Shane gives Vince McMahon his dues for building the company. Shane questions the US Championship tournament. Fashion Files Breezango comes out to face Bludgeon Brothers. Ascension comes and saves Breezango. Ascension puts Breezango in another match with Bludgeon Brothers next week. After the match Riott Squad attacks Naomi and attacks the Riott Squad. However the Riott Squad prevails but Natalya comes with Lana, Tamika, Carmilla and the Riott Squad leaves the ring.
A decision to have a tournament for the US CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE. This was the first match apparently Roode vs Corbin. A second match is made Mahal vs Tye Dillinger for the first round of the tournament. For the final show of 2017 Smackdown lacked a bit I thought but fans cheered and was entertained so I guess HAPPY NEW YEAR WWE AND FANS!
The last match was as good as it gets. Zayne was a distraction. Shane finally Shane tosses Zayne and Owens wins.
