Three ways the WWE company could possibly collapse.
The WWE or WOLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY is at the top of the world in the wrestling company. The company has gone through some changes over the years changing the name from the World Wrestling Federation or WWF due to a lawsuit with another company the name was changed. The history of the WWE can be traced all the way back to 1952. The company known as the WWF was finally formed in 1979. In 1993 the flagship show was featured on USA where it is today called MONDAY NIGHT RAW. In 1998 the company was re branded as the WWE.
WWE is a company held on the NYSE under the WWE currently the stock price holds around $21.00. There has been many who have reviewed the company financially and stated the company stock was to high and the company dividend paid on the stock was to high. Over the past 5 years the company stock highest point was $31 in March 2014.
The WWE company offers what is called the WWE Subscriber to the WWE UNIVERSE where as a person pays $9.99 per month to get all pay per views and other perks online. Since the coming out of this the WWE has not gotten the build up promised to stock holders. It has peaked out at 1.6 million subscribers currently.
The WWE has also moved into movies and has several movies produced and released by the company. Many of the entertainers from the WWE have moved on to movies and acting careers.
THREE WAYS HOW THE WWE COULD POSSIBLY COLLAPSE:
#1 WWE FANS
The WWE is an entertainment company based on that you have to keep your fans and fan base happy. The fan base is important on many levels from buying merchandise, buying tickets to live events, watching TV programs, and subscribing to the WWE UNIVERSE. WWE has made a history of being the top entertainment company on social media and television for years. However this is also one way the WWE could falter if fans stop buying merchandise, stop buying tickets, or stop watching live TV shows. Face it WWE is all fan based so they have to keep fans happy and going. This is why you see things happening in the WWE to keep fans on the ban wagon.
#2 LIVE TV SHOWS OR LIVE SHOWS
The WWE has stayed on top of the industry for many years dominating Live shows and being broadcasted live on TV. If the WWE lost the main flagship show on USA called Monday Night Raw it surly would cripple the company. However in attempts to remove shows in the future may be planned with the WWE Universe subscriber program. However that program has not been as successful as the WWE wanted it to be. Losing Smackdown on Tuesdays may hurt as well but if the company loses Raw it would defiantly send stocks to the ROCK BOTTOM!
#3 SUPERSTARS OR ENTERTAINERS
If at any point the entertainers walk on the WWE it is over for the company. However the company may already be facing an issue with this as many of the entertainers that have established the company over the past 38 years are leaving due to one reason or another. The WWE has to make a show where as back to my number one reason is the FANS have to relate to. If the fans do not seem to relate to your entertainers well everything is on the line. The Entertainers or WRESTLERS are the main stay of the WWE.
Currently I do not see the WWE being collapsed but you never can predict what will happen!
