Riegns brought up the WWE Finical Situation so lets talk about it
One thing I love is when some says something that may not be all that true while Vince McMahon may be a BILLIONAIRE his company called the WWE may not be as FINANCIALLY STABLE as projected. The truth is the company is not what makes him rich it is the STOCKS!
WWE stocks closed today 9/13 at $22.06 up .18 cents on the NYSE under the company name WWE.
However over the years the company stock has been an issue among many finical advisers and stock market analyst. The way the McMahon family has made Shane and Stephanie McMahon millionaires and Vince McMahon a billionaire was through the dividends of the company and the McMahon Family owning at least 51% of the company. Many financial and company stock annalist say that the WWE has to high of a dividend return at nearly 2.2%.
Stephanie and Paul Leveaque own around 120,00 shares each and are listed as top stock owners.
COMPANY REVENUES AND GROSS PROFITS:
The company has been increasing revenues from 2014 the company reported around $542,000 in revenues and in 2016 around $729,000.The gross profit for the company was around $165,000 in 2014 and around $299,00 in 2016.
This lead many to believe WWE was paying to much on stock dividends. This has worked for the McMahon Family however.
STOCK DIVIDENDS:
The company is not what created the money is was the dividends when you own millions of shares paying 2,2% or around ,50 cents per share every 4 quarters it does not take much to do the math.
Based on this theory Stephanie and Paul make about 1.9 Million dollars per year just off the WWE stock alone. Vince McMahon who owns way more than 6 million shares in the company stocks so you can see he is getting much more from the stock alone.
So in a real world it is really not the company making millions or billions is is the STOCKS.
I will admit the WWE has increased revenues and sales may indeed be up just like Reigns mentioned on Monday Night Raw lately but really it is all about the Stocks.
