Hello from The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik and Whispering Eagle who are the host and Co-Host for THE OUTLAW WRESTLING CLUB PODCAST.
The WWE is on fire since the change of hands and the take over of TKO. Vince McMahon sold the company and has sold all his stock shares. Triple HHH also known as Paul Levesque took over creative control of the company. The company has been on FIRE ever since.
WWE also announced the flag ship show MONDAY NIGHT RAW was leaving the USA in 2025 and going to NETFLIX
AS OF TODAY JUNE 17th 2024 TKO Stock sits at $105 per share.
With change becomes risk however Triple HHH is a fan of LONG STORY LINES with PAY OFFS for the FANS at MAIN EVENT PAY PER VIEWS. Many fans tune in weekly to see what the story is going to be. However some people and fans will argue that these long story lines make the WWE predictable and sometimes boring. As a fan myself I would agree that long story lines get fans interested and invested into following where the story will end or how it will end.
However as a blogger and podcaster of the WWE I would also say that having the WWE predictable is boring as well. The WWE has not had a real WOW moment in a long time. A Wow moment is like a jaw dropping moment where you or the FANS go what the heck just happened or I cannot believe they did that.
WWE has lacked this for a long time. The FANS however seem to be buying into the creative stories playing out at this time. However recently at the Clash WWE may have crossed a line with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Drew came to the ring Monday Night June 17th 2024 and Quit live on air.
I am not sure if this was part of the story line or if Drew really means he is leaving. The WWE also is teasing the FANS with a return of Uncle Howdy however will the Fans buy into this story line as well.
Fans got tired of a long drawn out story line between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. This story took over a year and even got the Rock involved. At the end of the story the FANS got a big pay off with Cody Rhodes winning the Smackdown Heavy Weight Championship from Roman Reigns.
However are the FANS getting screwed on less popular Pay Per Views ?
Are the FANS getting screwed out of short story lines with faster pay offs ?
Only time will tell but changes are coming in 2025 as MONDAY NIGHT RAW goes to NETFLIX and SMACKDOWN moves from FOX to USA, and NXT moves to the CW.
SO WILL THE FANS KEEP FOLLOWING THE LONG STORY LINES ?
