Why does the WWE need to re-think the Wyatt Story by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

The WWE last week on the show Called Monday Night Raw on June 17th 2024 saw the debut of what is being called the Wyatt Sicks. 

The members are: Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumas, Joe Gacy 

There are rumors of one more member joining making a total of six members. The most popular rumor would have Alexa Bliss return as she played in a role with Bray Wyatt and the Fiend. Also she had some parts with Uncle Howdy as well.

The group is being portrayed as an Evil group and a legacy of Bray Wyatt who passed away and is the relative of Bo Dallas. However after the debut on Raw the WWE fans seemed to be complaining more about the faction than buying into the WWE creative story line.

On June 24th the faction again showed up on Raw and an old VHS tape was played that had a pretty disturbing video on it. This seems to be an issue with many of the WWE fans. Many fans had been wanting the return of Uncle Howdy and the faction as a legacy to Bray Wyatt. 

However fans in the end got tired of the Fiend story line and wanted more of the original Bray Wyatt with the lantern, and  this was his most popular entrance with the FANS lighting up cell phones.

The question is do we really need this type of story and creation on RAW?

A second question I like to ask is where does the story go with this faction?

I always love to ask are fans going to BUY or SELL the Wyatt Sicks ?

WHY RAW DOES NOT NEED THE WYATT SICKS:

This is not going to be a popular opinion but I would cut the idea of this story and creation. I just do not feel it fits into wrestling and into Raw. Though Raw attracts a mature audience a large part of WWE audience is under 18. It is estimated that 23 % of the FANS of WWE are under the age of 18. This story line verges on the edge of scary Halloween movies and deep Horror flicks. Well I am sure there are many fans of this in the world and probably many WWE fans like this type of creation I do not feel it fits within the WWE overall. This is why I feel WWE needs to squash this story line sooner than later because the FANS I believe will walk away from the WWE if it is allowed to go on too long.

WHERE DOES WWE GO WITH THE STORY LINES:

Let's think about these WWE fans where this story goes?

Even with the Fiend the story in the end got a little boring. We had the personalities of Bray Wyatt  and the Fiend . Stories like this however have a shelf life or a time stamp if you will because you can only go so far with the story line. 

Does it end up with Titles or feuds or being defeated or winning what ever they are after?

Who do you put this faction against is another question how do you build a story line if in the first episode they are making it out like some kind of horror flick? 

In the second episode you put out an old VHS tape with some strange video with an interview showing Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy. 

DO THE WWE FANS BUY OR SELL THE WYATT SICKS:

So far all the comments and other bloggers and fellow WWE fans seem to be leaning on my ship of SELLING this creative story in the WWE. Most of the comments I read and a few other bloggers and some WWE groups seemed to lean towards not caring for this story line so far. however WWE fans are quite funny and can turn depending on how the WWE follows through. Some WWE entertainers story lines have bombed with the FANS and they never recovered from that. Some story lines that start out seemingly bad are turned and the WWE fans end up loving the ending.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON THE MATTER:

I am all for a good story line I don't mind at all to follow a good story line to see where it will end or what the final pay off will be. However currently I am not seeing anything I personally like I am not a horror movie fan or a fan of scary movies. Also I feel it is a bit over the top for the audience that is under 18 that accounts for 23% of the WWE fans.
