First of all thanks for following and reading my blogs about KETO and HEALTHY LIVING.
My wife Annie and I have been living a Keto Life for 2.5 years and we have also taken the time to educate ourselves and become knowledgeable in nutrition, and a happy and healthier life through eating the right foods. Many people that change to a different type of food diet or lifestyle end up wondering if they are getting the correct nutritional supplements and vitamins.

There also is a wide variety of supplements and vitamins and minerals on the market.

The human body needs vitamins and minerals to function. The basic vitamins are A,C, D,E, K, and B vitamins . There are a number of minerals needed by humans including: Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Chloride,Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Iodine, Sulfur, Cobalt, Copper, Fluoride, Manganese, and Selenium. 

Most people can get these minerals and vitamins through a healthy eating lifestyle.

It is possible when your taking supplements for these vitamins and minerals or others you can over do it.

HERE ARE SOME STUDIES AND RESEARCH SHOWING THE RESULTS OF TAKING TO MANY SUPPLEMENTS AND VITAMINS.

Women that took to much vitamin A showed a higher risk of birth defects for the baby.
Iron supplements are a leading cause of poisoning in young children.
In two studies people that smoked and took MVM products that provided more than 100% of DV for Vitamin A increased the risk of lung cancer.
If you take blood thinners taking to many supplements like vitamin K can reduce the medication effectiveness.
To much vitamin C or Zinc can cause nausea, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.
To much Selenium could lead to hair loss, gastrointestinal, fatigue, and mild nerve damage.
Multivitamins and minerals can cause life threatening side effects if they are taken to much.

The fact is you need to really watch supplements and minerals and discuss your diet with a HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
