 DOWN AND OUT IN AMERICA a film, video series and a blog about HOMELESS in AMERICA.

Hello  my name is Micheal many of you know me as The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik from my sports company called OUTLAW SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY, well last year I wanted to start a video series, blog and documentary on the issues of HOMELESS in America I was calling it DOWN AND OUT IN AMERICA.

Unfortunately Covid 19 hit and shut down many things including this project but as of July 2021 we are starting our film series on YOUTUBE.

I wanted to start my series in my own backyard in SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI.

Recently in the news headlines was this homeless project called REVIVE 66 CAMPGROUND.

The campground is closed between 8AM to 8PM and local business are complaining that the homeless leave trash, ask patrons for food and money, and cause issues with local business near the campground.

The camp offers a safe place for the night for homeless.

In the news in Springfield recently a vacated building off of Glenstone Ave had been in the news because it became a temporary camp. It had been an old CVC store but the city quickly cleaned the area up and removed the camp.

When you drive around Springfield you see many people standing on streets corners and high traffic areas with signs.

In Missouri it is estimated over 6500 people had been suffering from being homeless, It does not break down how many people of that are here in Springfield Missouri.

There are a few places and shelters available in Springfield Missouri.

I am going to be filming a series for a film and hopefully find some more answers on the issues of the homeless in Springfield Missouri
