The question is to Drive Full Time or Not?

One year ago I started an investigation into Door Dash and Uber.

I have only ever worked the delivery and passenger pick up as a part time gig but recently I though about a full time career driving.  Here after a year of my investigation and being self employed through contracting with Door Dash and Uber these are my thoughts, concerns, and facts I have discovered.

DOOR DASH CONCERNS:

It is super hard to get on the schedule on Door Dash App most of the time.
Door Dash is very saturated in Reno, Nevada.
Door Dash just changed the pay system a delivery can be done as low as $2
Customers tips are included in the pay that you get from Door Dash.
Door Dash broke Reno into 4 sections and it is hard to stay in one area.

DOOR DASH BENEFITS:

Customers can not only order from Restaurants on Door Dash but they can basically order food from anywhere.
Door Dash pays weekly and also has instant pay available but they do charge $2 for using it.
Door Dash allows the customer to tip you.
Door Dash offers bonus times and periods to make more money.
You can schedule Dashes but has the ability to log in or out anytime you want.

UBER EATS and PAX CONCERNS:

Uber Eats only has a handful of restaurants unlike Door Dash Uber only uses the restaurants on the App.
Uber Eats and Pax pays by the mileage and time it takes for a delivery.
Uber does not have a scheduling system besides logging in or off the app.
Uber Pax requires a vehicle with in 10 years of age.

UBER EATS and PAX BENEFITS:

Uber Eats pays weekly and offers instant Pay as well.
Uber offers a debit Card through an Outside Banking System
Uber offers discounts and insurance,
Uber offers peak periods to earn more money.

CONCERNS FOR BOTH COMPANIES:

Vehicle maintenance and issues with the vehicle.
Enough work to make enough money on a full time bases.
Employment, Social Security, Federal and State Taxes.
Getting business licenses, car inspections, and permits for passengers.
Both companies rate drivers and must maintain a certain levels to drive for the companies.

OTHER CONCERNS:

Cost of fuel, car maintenance, supplies, insurance.

What I have learned from my experience in doing both Part Time:

I have been able to make decent money from just part time work. I can write off gas expenses, car maintenance, food, supplies, and other expenses on my taxes to off set the taxes nor being taken out. I believe I could drive full time and make a decent wage. There are plenty of people who do.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO EARN OR HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR PAY:

Lets just use $15 an hour as starting point with no taxes taken out and 8 hour day equals $120 per day or $600 a week or $2400 per month or $28.800 per year.
You have to consider more things your SELF EMPLOYED so no taxes are being taken out of your pay, but also no self employment, no social security.
You will be responsible for all those taxes, plus your own health insurance, car maintenance, fuel cost and related expenses.

I have not really answered the question if I personally will drive full time or not.
