Owens and Jericho kick off PayBack that had some issues on the WWE Network it did not kick off till about 10 minutes after 5pm. During the show several times the WWE Universe had issues with live feed. I saw the results on Twitter before match was over on the Network all night long. Sad for sure! ESPN is under the gun for massive layoffs in the sports world but we have all seen this coming for years. In Florida for 4 years I worked with ESPN as an independent Journalist, broadcaster, radio and TV personality. It was as fun for me as it was for the fans not every sport is as popular or seen as much as the four major sports such as National Football League, National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, UFC, MMA and Boxing, along with many National Motor Sports like Nascar. However here is my advice for ESPN there are tons of amature sports personalities like me that would love to cover ESPN events so why not hire us as independent consultants. The Daytona 500 just happened and this year once again NASCAR is saying less fans and less TV viewers and even less interest in NASCAR. The fact is NASCAR changed the way the Daytona was operated. So let's really think about NASCAR and the reasons for the downward spiral of fans. FACE IT NASCAR IS BORING! As a sports guy who loves just about every sport Nascar has never been on my list as far as wagering or even watching NASCAR I only enjoy the wrecks even though I hate to see anyone hurt. As far as wagering on NASCAR in Nevada most books offer only to win the RACE or MATCHUPS between drivers. I believe if books offered people a chance to wager First or Second and Third places it would draw more attention. After all look at this last Daytona most of the drivers had been eliminated by the last LAP! NASCAR also has lost its appeal on TV maybe we need more drama or something to attract fans NASCAR is not on the news like the NFL or NBA or even COLLEGE sports. THese sports good

Today 1/28/17 I ate at Top Deck Restaurant at Cal Neva Casino. This is my review: Walking in the restaurant was quite full I was able to walk in and sit at the bar. I was handed a menu immediately and asked what I wanted to drink. While sitting there at the bar there was an older man very well dressed putting butter into small cups I assumed for breakfast pancakes. You can see the grill and there was 4 cooks and several waiters and waitresses. I decided to try the Steak and Egg breakfast for $4.99. It was great the steak was cooked exactly how i asked, the  hash browns and eggs done perfectly, and even the toast. My waitress was quite busy and she was not very communicative with me but I was ok with that. My only issue was the soda being $2.50. However it was great give this place a shot if you can!

The WWE though tossing a few of the superstar wrestlers to different showa would work but I say it really only is a temporary solution.  Fans may be loving some of the latest changes but the fact is WWE will slide right back into the same old feuds and the lack of a WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar on RAW does not add to the fans loving Raw. So fans currently are loving the changes on RAW after Wrestlemania Vince McMahon shaked some superstars up on Raw and Smackdown, So here is what I see coming Dean Ambrose and the Miz will continue the feud on RAW. Roman Reigns and Bruan Strowman go for WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Alexa Bliss will become Raw women's Champion, and not sure about the rest of the roster will be. However it only changes the players not the matches. Smackdown is also experiencing new faces but some things just do not change. Smackdown is going south in my opinion. Where is this battle going to go as more States join the legalization of the Marijuana. As it stands right now, marijuana is legal in California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Colorado, and Washington D.C. for recreational purposes.  Massachusetts’ legalization initiative took place on December 15, 2016. Nevada legalization took effect January 1st, 2017.  There are laws approved in several other States as well and most States allow Medical Marijuana.  However the Federal Government still sees the Marijuana as illegal and therefore does not agree with the States that have passed the drug as legal. So what is going to happen is the Federal Government going to allow the States to keep the current laws or will the Federal Government step in and overrule the States on this subject? Both sides are talking however the Federal side seems against the legalization of Marijuana. 

I saw a video and read some articles about the GOVERNMENT making living in RVS illegal. So is it TRUE our government is attempting to Outlaw the RV lifestyle? There is some truth to this the HUD housing Department is attempting to Outlaw RVS and Tiny houses on YOUR OWN PROPERTY. There are laws being passed that could affect over 1.5 million people that live in RVS full time. Recently my family researched buying a lot in Winnemucca. It was 5 acres of bare land and we had thought about living in our RV on the land while we developed it. What we found out is the following information: In this county you can camp on the property for two weeks with no permits. Each county and area is different if you are considering living an RV you may want to check with your local Building Department. After two weeks you have to get a permit from the county. WWE has in my opinion gone too far with the whole idea of the underground and cult with one charter called Bray Wyatt. Thinking that the WWE holds a rated PG-13 rating I believe they have gone outside the box on this and at first I bought into the whole idea of the dark arena with the cell phones and the lantern but recently the House of Horrors and showing of cult like and I dare say Satanic symbols on National TV is just going to far. I wonder how many of you viewers agree with me or do you disagree ? So here we are all the rumors and stars changing places on Raw and Smackdown. Dirty Little Street Rat is the name called by Maryse and Miz to Dean Ambrose. Braun Strowman destroys Gold Dust and R Truth after Raw shows him destroying Roman Reigns. Bruan is shown dragging Klasiko and tossing him in the trash till Big Show shows up. The show really has no surprises and the show is all the same old matches just different players. Raw added Micky James and ALexa Bliss to the Diva Division and lost Charlotte Flair. So in my opinion Raw and Smackdown just changed a few of the Superstars and added a few stupid Superstars. My question is can WWE give the fans what they want in the latest Superstars ?

It is not like I can do some sort of spoiler alert we all should have an idea how this movie ends. So Alyssa and I decided to go back to our Tuesday Night movie and we choose Beauty and the Beast this week. Alyssa and I agreed about 5 minutes into the movie that we had named the Night Tuesday Torture. As a remake it totally sucked!  I do not recall when I last watched the Original Alyssa thought it was around when she was 5 years old. Sorry but this movie lacked just about everything! The special effects bad, the plot bad, and the singing drags the movie out even more. The only good parts of the movie was when it was over!

The current year is 2017 but let's go back 200 years to 1817. Could you drop all of your latest gadgets like cell phones, computers and even telephones. Not only that forget most modern day vehicles and transportation. Forget most industries, and being able to handle a gun or weapon for protection or hunting.  Horses and Horse drawn carriages are still very popular however the US had moved into steam operated boats and railways. Cotton was still one of the largest industries in the US. Forget States as many areas of the West was unexplored or under the Territory of Spain. Women of the day made clothing, cooked and attended to housing and children and often helped the men with farming. Hunting, Fishing and Farming was a main stay of most families lives though some cities in the East started to pick up in industry and living. So the powers that be decided to have a shakeup in the WWE world sending some of the superstars to Raw and some to Smackdown. So what is the whole idea? One of my biggest complaints was the feuds and creative writing om WWE. Though I doubt moving stars around will do anything but change a few storylines. Here is the bottom line it all was true Goldberg is gone Lesnar is champ and look for Reigns to face him ny next Wrestlemania. As far as anything else who really cares it will shake things up for a few weeks but in the end it will be right back to the same old same old WWE!

Face it these days SOCIAL MEDIA is all over the place people these days can take photos, post instantly online, and even post videos and other stuff almost instantly online. However there is a grey area because the INTERNET does not have a lot of laws rules or regulations. So a person has to ask where are the rights of the people and the rights of a company to use Social Media as a reason for termination. The First Amendment states: guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. So this should apply on the internet as well yet many companies including one I worked for recently have fired people including myself for post on the internet. So I no longer have freedom of speech because if I post anything about the company I work for can fire me for social media. I understand companies have employees who post things that can affect the company or business but the fact is most people post things that ar

I have lived in Verdi NV for a couple of years. It is a small community 15 miles outside of Reno. NV. There is not much in Verdi but since the new companies and new laws Vedir is about to change. Boomtown Casino is located close to Verdi along with and recently a new warehouse is being built at the bottom of the property. Also there are plans for 300 houses to be built in this area. In downtown Verdi there are changes as well the old Wells manufacturing building was bought out by the Mint Marijuana dispensary. They are currently working on the building. Just past the bridge and river they just started construction on over 500 houses. I also understand a market and other companies in the area.

Recently I was coming back with my family from Carson City with my wife and three grandkids. I was traveling in the fast lane going around 70 miles per hour. There was a truck in the slower lane so I could not get over. A car came up behind and started flashing the lights I could see the car in my mirror but the truck for whatever reason speed up and I still could not get passed or get over. It took a few minutes for me to get pass the truck and into the slower lane and this whole time this car behind me is flashing the lights. As soon as I got over I thought the whole incident was over but this car decides to pass me and slma on the breaks I had to bring my car to a screaming halt and creating a serious accident. Not only did this scare my family in the car but this person could have caused lives and injuries to not only my family but other drivers on the road. I am sorry I could not blog this live but here is a rundown of what happened in the WWE at WRESTLEMANIA 2017: 2PM PRE SHOW: Was mostly a rundown and promo of former WWE history.  Commentators on the pre show Booker T, Jerry Lawer, Shawn Michaels, and Renee. Joined by Lita.  They are saying 70,000 WWE fans in attendance. KICKOFF MATCHES: First Match: Austin Aires vs Neville for Cruiserweight Title: The match was getting pretty good back and forth with both competitors and WWE actually did a promo in the middle of the match. The match got good and the crowd started to chant. Neville wins by attacking Aires eyes and pins Aires. WINNER: NEVILLE Second Match: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Well Big Show and Strowman got eliminated pretty fast. The rest of the match had featured Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayne. The match got interesting when Gronski interfered in the match and MOJO RAWLEY wins the match! WINNER: MOJO Third Match: Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin for Intercont

If you're like me my bracket is all but decimated but I did have Oregon going all the way in one bracket. So who will win and what are the Nevada Sports books hoping for? NORTH CAROLINA vs GONZAGA Here on Nevada almost all the books opened the line with GONZAGA favored by -6 1/2 and the total on the game opened up at 138. As of this AM on APRIL 1st 2017 the line has not moved. Currently almost every book in Nevada has GONZAGA still at -6 1/2 however the TOTAL POINTS changed to 137 1/2. My Pick: GONZAGA TAKE THE MONEY LINE If you are a brave soul try to middle the game: wager North Carolina +6 1/2  and Gonzaga Money Line you may end up winning both wagers.
