WWE PAYBACK Results and Review
Owens and Jericho kick off PayBack that had some issues on the WWE Network it did not kick off till about 10 minutes after 5pm.
During the show several times the WWE Universe had issues with live feed. I saw the results on Twitter before match was over on the Network all night long. Sad for sure!
Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho for US Championship:
Chris Jericho wins the US Championship back and moves to Smackdown.
Austin Aries vs Neville for Cruiserweight Championship:
Neville won via DQ
Hardy Boys vs Cesaro and Sheamus for Raw Tag Team Championship:
Hardy Boys win the match and retain the titles.
Alexa Bliss vs Bayley for WWE Raw Womens Championship:
Alexia Biss wins RAW title and becomes the first women to hold both Titles on Smackdown and Raw!
Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton that originally was for the Smackdown Title Championship in a House of Horrors Match that was changed to a non title match:
So this match shows Orton arriving at a glowing house and Wyatt inside. This was a terrible match really fighting in the house wow I had seen better Halloween shows. The fridge was a nice touch.
Than Bray Wyatt got into the Limo and headed back to the ring so this match was continued from there. This was lack of creative juices and a total waste of time if you ask me and was not scary or even interesting!
Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe:
Seth Rollins wins after a hard fought match.
Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton that originally was for the Smackdown Title Championship in a House of Horrors Match that was changed to a non title match continues as Wyatt arrives at the arena: The lights dim and the cell phones glow and Wyatt walks to the ring with his lantern. Randy is in the ring with a steel chair and an RKO off the announcers table. JInder Mahal interferes in the match hits Orton with Title and Wyatt wins the match!
Wyatt Wins the House of Horrors Match.
Strowman vs Reigns:
Reigns comes to the ring with all kinds of injuries.
This match should have never happened but Strowman wins.
Strowman Wins the match.
After the match Strowman continued to assault Reigns with the steel steps.
Reigns was bleeding after the match and this was unreal.
THE OUTLAW REVIEW:
Payback lacked everything including any really interesting creative writing or producing. WWE slipped up on this PAY PER VIEW. No signs of Triple H or Stephanie McMahon since Wrestlemania.
No sign of Kurt Angle either and so my review was GOOD show but as usual lacked any creativity and should have included more TITLE matches. We could have had Smackdown Women's Title Match, or Intercontinental Match or how about WWE Universal Championship match?
The WWE viewers and Universe got nothing out of this PAY PER VIEW!
The worst was Reigns at the end Reigns needing Medical attention!
