This last Thursday and Friday at the Reno Sparks Livestock and Events Center the Sierra Nevada High School Wrestling Championships happened. Incase you missed it check out my photos on Facebook   and Youtube videos. Wrestling is still a popular sport among high schools and college levels. Both young men and women wrestle at various weights and levels. However these young adults wrestle for scholarships, training and endurance. First of all let's just put it out there no other football league has managed to stay afloat.We saw the ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE CRUMBLE, XFL CLOSED UP SHOP, and THE UFL NEVER LASTED VERY LONG. Even though the ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE came back it never has been the same. If Vince McMahon is planning a reboot of his failed XFL he needs to learn about the game itself. People do not want a WWE version of football. They do not want scripted games or fake outcomes. Also to face the NFL you're gonna need a lotta help so here is my suggestion for Mr Vince McMahon. One there a lot of semi-pro teams in America. There are a ton of established leagues that are ready and primed to jump on the bandwagon. If Mr, Vince McMahon wants a real run at a professional league than my suggestion is to buy out one of these leagues. Also going to places that have no football there are a ton of towns and cities that would love a football league but to face off the NFL have teams in cities that the NFL

On December 19th 2017 we saw Borealis A Holiday Spectacular Review by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik. The show started at 8pm at the GSR Casino in the Grand Theater. It started with a present in the middle of the floor with lights on it. A male actor named Jess was the main comedy relief in the show and performed his part very well. I found myself Laughing at certain acts and parts of the show.  Jess pulled one lady out of the audience in one act, and had four other participants during the show. Acts included juggling, dancing, light shows, trampoline, high wire acts, singing, and dancing acts. The show sometimes seemed a bit boring and acts dragged out. Some of the acts made no sense and there was really no story line for the entire show or I missed it entirely.  However the parts where the comedy came out more than made up for the slower moments in the show, I found myself laughing several times during the act.   The show has some great lighting and music and doe

Daniel enters the ring and the crowd cheers. He mentioned the Royal Rumble women's division match. Seems like Daniel is set on tag team match. As he announces the match with Owens, Mahal, Zayne and Orton, Nakamura and Styles Shane comes out to the ring. Shane address Daniel and the crowd. Shane rehashes the match as he is talking to Daniel. Shane is still bent on firing Owens and Zayne. Daniel says he was protecting Shane from himself. As the crowd chants Thank You Daniel. WEEK 15 and the NFL is heating up. As of the end of week 15 here are my predictions to the Playoffs and Super Bowl. There are 17 weeks and 16 regular games so this week a lot of stuff was decided in the NFL but there are still some room for surprises. The Last Pay Per View of the year CLASH OF CHAMPIONS and this is the results and my future predictions for SMACKDOWN LIVE in 2018. MATCH #1 Triple Threat Match Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin for the US CHAMPIONSHIP : Roode and Ziggler eliminate Corbin and Roode and Ziggler exchange pins and kick outs. Corbin comes back in the match and works on Roode. After a few exchanges between all the competitors Ziggler almost pins Roode but Corbin saves the match. Corbin Takes of the straps and hits the Deep 6 on Roode but he kicks out. Fans Chant Bobby Roode! Corbin nailed a Suplex off ropes with both Roode and Ziggler but he could not pin anyone. Ziggler and Roode both wasted way to much time and Ziggler again nearly pins Roode. Roode nearly pinned Ziggler and Corbin goes outside the ring. Hello and thanks for following us in 2017 I wrote several blogs about journey living in a Cash World in 2016 to 2017. This year has been an experience living with no loans, no credit, and only using our debit card. As in other post because of our business we did have to accept credit cards and we did use a company called SQUARE for that. Annie told me today some companies in San Francisco are no longer accepting cash payments. If you do not have a debit or credit card these business are not offering you a choice any more. This actually seems to be a thing with companies as we have found many companies will not take a cash payment. If you live in a cash world like we choose to it can be quite difficult to pay bills, shop, get gas, and other simple daily living things we have encountered. If you do not use a debit card you must plan out what your going to spend to avoid multiple trips to the bank. Also still keeping track of your credit is vital just to insure you have no identit

This year I wrote a few blogs about being down and out in Reno Nevada. I even took photos and videos of homeless camps and panhandlers in my quest to cover the issues of homeless in the Washoe County area. Here is a mna my wife Anne meet and I wanted to tell his story to finish the year on the homeless and panhandling issues around Reno area. On a note one of the main people who operated the kitchen at Saint Vincent's Shelter passed away his name was Ray Trevino. Jason was standing with a sign near an auto store in Sparks Nevada that read ( Please help I am not just hungry I am starving.)  We were in line at Mcdonald's drive through and we saw the sign so we asked him Are you really hungry or you holding a sign and faking it? He answered me back "no I am not faking it". So we asked him to get in my vehicle. This is not something we would recommend doing normally but we felt safe. As we sat in line he explained he had been attempting to help people with car repairs

Face it in the Reno area the growth of RV living is increasing and many people stay long term or even short term in an RV. Many more parks are full over the winter time. Many parks are offering long term stays as in the past they would not. There are many good things about RVS they are like a home including kitchens, bathroom, bedrooms, sewage systems, they are self contained mostly many of them working off propane and electrical systems. Many of them have generators and newer models have pulls out slide outs and many other options. Heck these days you can find RVS that cost as much as house or more. Smackdown  starts with Owens and Zayne in the ring. Fans are booing as Owens and Zayne complain about the McMahon family. A lot of time is wasted on Zayne and Owens talking and ranting. As usual he pleads with DAD for a match. This time Angle was going to say no but Jordan attacked Reigns. So Reigns made the match happen. Yes this blog is about to get a little weird but we (my wife Annie and I) were at WALMART tonight and it was packed and people are hustling up and down the aisles with shopping carts. So here we are shopping headed down the aisles that seem to be filled with people pushing carts. As we head down the aisle we run into an issue some other person with a cart with one of us having to move or run into each other. We manage to turn our cart into the other side of the aisle but then almost get ran into by another person pushing a cart. Of course there are the excuse me, sorry, and normal pleasantries of people in the stores. Are there rules about cart driving? Is it possible stores should have stop and go lights, yield signs, stop signs and other information for people pushing carts? On average I wonder how many carts are being used in a normal store. We have been in a store when no carts have been available. Also some times you have people driving electric carts as well. These carts

If you ask anyone to compare boxing to mma (mixed martial arts) you would probably get more people who like mma than boxing. As of recently in the news Conner McGregor seems to be going the wrong direction. He recently was in a bar room brawl and there are questions of him ever fighting in the UFC again. Once again I choose to not watch Smackdown on Tuesday and I caught Smackdown on HULU on Wednesday. Smackdown seems to be coping Raw however Smackdown added new women and followed Raw lead in the ending of the matches. Luke Harper and Erin Rowan are know playing the tag team called The Bludgeon Brothers. I still predict a possible feud between Daniel Bryant and Shane McMahon. Small seeds are being set up as Daniel has in the past wanted WWE to reinstate him to a wrestler. It seems the differences are small as of lately in regards to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne.  WWE STOCK CLOSED AT $28.04 today on the NYSE. The game set a record attendance tonight 7812 people the biggest audience a girls basketball game has had at UNR according to the announcers at the game. UNR attempted to keep in the game but the audience could tell as UCONN outscored UNR by more than 25 points the entire game. The crowd cheered as UNR made baskets but all together the crowd was pretty quiet the entire game. Alyssa and I agreed that the crowd was much quieter than the men's basketball game we went to the prior week. UNR mascots need to get into the game more often and get the crowd motivated. The half time shows could use more entertainment and better dancing and shows. A lot of the half time is used for contest and a short time dancing from the cheerleaders. A better half time show could be done. However it was a good game and we enjoyed it.
