This month is September 2025 and I decided to bring you a photo or video everyday and discuss them on Facebook.

September 1st to 7th  photos:


C Street or Commercial Street: This street has a long history starting in the 1800's after the railroad companies started coming to Springfield. The area boomed till 1960 but started to decline that year. The area was declared a Local History District in 1978. It was added to the National History Register of Historic Places in 1983. Today you can find many small businesses, food places, and markets and events in this area.


Maverick Gas Stations: This company is relatively new to Springfield buying out the old Kim and Go gas stations in 2023. The company began the overhaul in 2024 and is planning on a complete takeover by the end of 2025.


Route 66 Springfield MO: On April 30th 1926 was proposed as Highway US 66. Springfield is considered the BIRTH PLACE of ROUTE 66. You can find different Route 66 nostalgia from Joplin MO to Saint Louis MO. Places to look for to visit on Route 66 include Joplin, Springfield, Rolla, Saint Roberts, Uranus,Cuba, and Saint Louis. Springfield has a few historic places related to Route 66 and holds a Route 66 festival every year.

Uber Eats vs Door Dash the Outlaw Micheal Tomsik who won?

Since we started this duel we have learned a few things about both companies. Here are links to my past blogs about these companies: UBER EATS VS DOOR DASH DUEL GRUB HUB vs UBER EATS vs DOOR DASH So here are some things we learned about UBER EATS and DOOR DASH : DOOR DASH : Door Dash has started accepting orders from WAL MART Also Door Dash has no contracts with restaurants so customers can get food from a larger variety of restaurants. Door Dash also allows the delivery drivers do the food orders for the customers at the restaurant or the customer can do the order online and pay for the food and the delivery as well. Door Dash gives the delivery driver a credit card to use. Door Dash does not have a photo of the delivery driver or the vehicle they use for deliveries. Door Dash offers a bonus for delivery drivers.
