Healthy Food 4 Healthy Life ( Week 5 of my challenge and what I have learned so far)


Welcome to 2025 and welcome to the life story of Annie and Micheal Tomsik. I am happy you have been following my blogs since 2020. If you are just joining us, or never heard of us or me then let me fill you in a little.  

THIS IS OUR STORY:

Annie and I started the KETO LIFESTYLE in 2020 after her brother was diagnosed with diabetes Her brother whose name is Dick Kelley eventually passed away from the disease. Annie was really sick in 2020 and also diagnosed with diabetes. Our fear of what happened to her brother got us investigating what we could do. We had Doctors tell us there were nothing but medications however we found KETO and began to follow the LIFESTYLE.

So I am on week 5 of my challenge to get to 200 pounds from 218 pounds today on March 30th 2025 I weighed in at 209.5. So I currently have 2 other people doing this challenge with me but one of the people are not doing Keto or Carnivore. This person is counting calories as in/out method.

Here is what we discovered my boss is doing the challenge with me and on Friday he was down to 198 from 205. His goal is 195. The other person joined the challenge late but currently in the challenge starting weight was 264 and his goal weight is 180. However he is not doing Keto or Carnivore he is counting Calories and Carbs.

So my boss and entering into week 5 learned the following he has to eat a lean fat and high protein lifestyle to lose weight. When he eats this way he loses weight fairly easily.  What I learned for me is cutting back on portions and skipping meals and also going more lean meat and high protein also works for me.

As far as the 3rd person that joined our challenge I have my reservations if he is being completely honest with me. He told me his start weight was 264 then all the sudden it dropped to 253. Then he told me he was 213. However he told me he had weighed in with his clothes on including shoes, wallet and keys. So really it is hard for me to say if he is really losing weight or not.

Also this would be nearly impossible to lose this much weight this fast our human bodies can only maybe lose up to 1 pound per day so I could see the 253 but not all the way down to 213.

Anyways the lesson is you may have to experiment with your body and how your body burns fat, and what is best for you to be healthy.I am hoping by the end of April 2025 I can hit my goal of 200.

Currently I am still doing complete CARNIVORE I have been doing it for 5 weeks to date.
