Healthy Food 4 Healthy Life ( How is my challenge going )
Welcome to 2025 and welcome to the life story of Annie and Micheal Tomsik. I am happy you have been following my blogs since 2020. If you are just joining us, or never heard of us or me then let me fill you in a little.
THIS IS OUR STORY:
Annie and I started the KETO LIFESTYLE in 2020 after her brother was diagnosed with diabetes Her brother whose name is Dick Kelley eventually passed away from the disease. Annie was really sick in 2020 and also diagnosed with diabetes. Our fear of what happened to her brother got us investigating what we could do. We had Doctors tell us there were nothing but medications however we found KETO and began to follow the LIFESTYLE.
For the past 3 weeks I have been doing a challenge with my boss at work I started at 218 and he started at 205. We started this challenge to help one another because we had both been struggling with losing weight.
Myself after over a year I had maintained at 210 pounds. I jumped all the way to 218 in 2025 with no changes to my KETO LIFESTYLE. I had to discover why this was happening and what I could do about it. Since than I had tried a few things before the challenge with my boss. I tried different ideas for 2 months but nothing happened as a matter of fact that jumped me up to 220 pounds.
After talking to my boss who also does Keto we decided to challenge one another. We started 3 weeks ago and today I was at 214 pounds and he was at 201 pounds. We weight in daily and discuss our food intake , exercise, and other factors. I have found this very helpful myself.
So I still do not know why I jumped from 210 to 218 and I can tell you it has been a struggle and a fight to lose the 4 pounds I have currently lost in 3 weeks. So with me really watching my intake of food, exercise, stress, and extra I discovered a few things.
I had to go back to skipping breakfast, and I had to cut treats ( LIKE KETO SMOOTHIES) or any KETO treats. Matter of fact going into week 4 I decided to go completely CARNIVORE to see if maybe the KETO is preventing the weight loss.
I still walk daily with my dogs I have been doing this for over 1 1/2 years.
I will update you because we are attempting to make a certain weight by April 2025.
