So lately Annie and I have been taking with several friends and family but many people still really do not understand Keto. We often find ourselves explaining Keto.
So many people believe Keto is just a diet so once again let me explain Keto. It can be used as a diet but it actually a way to change your eating habits to a more healthy and happier life.
My goal in doing my blogs is to educate people on how food can change your body, your health, and your life. I will discuss things in my blogs besides Keto, and that will include ways to eat healthier.
KETO EXPLAINED:
Keto in a low carb high fat lifestyle this makes your body go into a metabolic state called Ketosis.
Ketosis is a process that happens when your body does not have enough calories to burn for energy.
Instead the body burns fat and makes things called ketones that can be used for fuel for the body.
WHAT YOU CAN EAT WITH KETO:
Keto includes eating most all meats including Beef, Turkey, Chicken and Pork..
You can also include Buffalo, Deer, or most game animals plus fish and seafoods.
Low Carb Veggies, Veggies, Avocados, Cheese, Eggs, some Yogurts and Cottage Cheese.
Nuts and Seeds, and Berries. Unsweetened Coffee and Tea. Dark Chocolate and Coca Powder
ARE THERE SOME PEOPLE WHO SHOULD NOT DO A KETO LIFESTYLE:
Yes if you have issues with your Kidneys, Heart issues, or pregnant with diabetes.
You should always consult a doctor when you decided to change your food intake or doing a diet.
KETO AND SUGAR:
If doing a Keto lifestyle it is recommended to keep under 50 grams of sugar per day.
There are a number of natural sugar substitutes that can be used if doing Keto or even if you want a change in your life.
FOODS THAT ARE HEALTHY BUT NOT KETO:
There are plenty of foods like Bananas, Apples, and other fruits and veggies that can be used for a happier healthier life.
