US SUPREME COURT OPENS UP SPORTS WAGERING IN ALL STATES

After the US Supreme Court voted 6 to 3 to open the US to Legal Sports Wagering.
However it is not going to happen super fast.
The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL are already tossing up road blocks.

The NBA says it wants 1% all of wagers made on the NBA, and the NHL also jumped on board with this.

New Jersey will most likely be the first State to open up the sports wagering as companies like WILLIAM HILL SPORTS BOOK is already set up and hiring people for books.

States to follow Mississippi, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and West Virginia.
A number of other States could follow in the following months.

It is estimated 150 Billion dollars is bet illegally on sports.

How will this affect NEVADA?

 Currently mostly it seems as the Eastern States are jumping on the Sports wagering band wagon but as soon as some of the Western States like California, Oregon, Arizona and Texas jump on board it could effect some sports books in Nevada.
Some of the smaller books could close or become kiosk locations.

However casino stocks spiked today with the news. Companies like MGM, Boyd Gaming and other companies that have casinos in States that can have sports books will have no worries.
