Thank you for following us and we hope you enjoy this series on SPRINGFIELD Missouri.
One of the things I found in Springfield was INDOOR FLEA MARKETS. Before we moved here Annie and I often sold merchandise at events and flea markets in Reno Nevada. We also got to the point where we had been promoting shows at casinos. We had entertained the thought of doing this in Springfield Missouri but to our surprise most of the Flea Markets in the area are inside.
Many of the markets rent spaces to vendors and are open 7 days per week. Vendors pay a space rent while the markets provide spaces and customers for the vendors to sell the merchandise. Spaces in these markets can vary in price from $50 per month and up depending on space and the location. Often these markets have a long waiting list to sell merchandise or get a space plus have many vendors in one building. Many of them also add a small sales fee for collecting payments.
You don't find many outdoor FLEA MARKETS in the Ozarks. Matter of fact there are none in the Springfield area or out side areas that I can think of.Annie and I did sell and are currently selling at two FLEA MARKETS that will be on the list of Flea Markets Below in the area.
You can click the link to get to the web page for Relics above. I currently do not have a booth here but this is one of the best INDOOR FLEA MARKETS in Springfield. RELICS is located on 2015 W Battlefield Road and has a large FLEA MARKET and EVENTS CENTER.
You can click the link to go to the web page for Mikes above. I sold jewelry and had a booth here for about 1.5 years. I rented the shelves at $10 per shelf space and had a booth that ran $125.00 per month. Mikes is also a very large building with many vendors. It is located at 3335 W Sunshine.
TIMELESS TREASURES FLEA MARKET
The link above goes to the FACEBOOK PAGE I could not find a web page link for this flea market. I currently have a small space here for my POKEMON Business. You can ask for my space number #2872. The space runs $85 per month. This is another very large Flea Market with a lot of vendors. It is located at 2743 W Kearny.
The link goes to the FACBOOK PAGE as the web page was down for this Flea Market. I don't really know much about this market. I attempted to get a booth here once but the waiting list was very long. It is one of the smaller Flea Markets in Springfield. Located at 1820 E Traficway.
As far as the Springfield area there are several other smaller Flea Markets I have not listed above. Some of the markets are smaller and located in various parts of town.
This is a list of places I did not list above you may want to check out :
RC FLEA MARKET, THE GREAT FLEA MARKET, ALLURE FLEA MARKET, THE VINTAGE PEDDLER, and FREAKIN ANTIQUIN
There are also several FLEA MARKETS in a town called NIXA, Missouri.
NIXA is is a smaller community that is just on the outside of Springfield. The best way to get to Nixa is to follow Campbell St. This will take you to the City of Nixa.
I recently checked this market out I do not have a booth there but it is a smaller venue. Located at 423 W South Street.
Currently U have a booth at this market in Nixa. You can ask for my booth space #2872. The booth space I have runs $70 per month. This is a medium size venue and has many vendors inside. It is a bit hard to see off the main road because there is another smaller FLEA MARKET located in the same complex. However you can see the sign and find it at 407 W Lee Street.
Annie and I sold at this market for over a year. It is fairly large and has many vendors. We no longer are selling at this market but it is worth checking out. Located at 407 N Wilderness Road.
There are also several FLEA MARKETS in another close town called OZARK.
Ozark is a small town and the best way to get there is on the Freeway I-65.It is also a smaller community that is about 15 minutes away from Springfield going South.
There is no FLEA MARKETS in Willard or Stafford that I am aware of these are smaller towns near Springfield.
