Healthy Food 4 Healthy Life ( Week 6 of my Carinvore experiment to lose weight and get to my 200 pound goal)

Welcome to 2025 and welcome to the life story of Annie and Micheal Tomsik. I am happy you have been following my blogs since 2020. If you are just joining us, or never heard of us or me then let me fill you in a little.  

THIS IS OUR STORY:

Annie and I started the KETO LIFESTYLE in 2020 after her brother was diagnosed with diabetes Her brother whose name is Dick Kelley eventually passed away from the disease. Annie was really sick in 2020 and also diagnosed with diabetes. Our fear of what happened to her brother got us investigating what we could do. We had Doctors tell us there were nothing but medications however we found KETO and began to follow the LIFESTYLE.

If you have been following me 6 weeks ago I choose to go completely CARNIVORE meaning I am only eating Meat and Dairy. I usually promote a KETO  LIFESTYLE but I decided that I wanted to see what foods made my body gain weight. This is not the first time I have gone completely Carnivore however I have done the Carnivore Lifestyle several times with my wife for up to 30 days. 

This is the longest time I have gone to complete Carnivore in over 5 years.

In my goal to get to 200 pounds by April 30th 2025 I have discovered a few things I am going to share with you.

WHAT GOES IN MUST COME OUT:

Our human bodies are a mystery in some ways even though science and technology have advanced over the years. The human body must have food and water and process it into energy to operate our bodies. It is a FACT that all of us humans must eat food and drink water to survive.

The debate over exactly what foods are best for humans has gone on for many years and even in today's modern world the debate is still ongoing.

Our body also produces waste from what we eat after our bodies process the food into energy. The body gets rid of the waste in the form of POOP and PEE (to put it in a nice way.) One thing I have noticed and a lot of other Carnivore people have reported is that the body uses more of the food so there is less POOP and PEE doing a CARNIVORE LIFESTYLE

However I will also put this warning out there I have heard of many people starting Carnivore complaining of constipation. This leads me to ask how much waste weight is in the system of a human, and how much waste is going out compared to the food and drink going in?

IS IT EXPENSIVE BEING CARNIVORE:

Beef and Eggs are at an all time high price. However CARNIVORE  means you can eat any meat so you can eat CHICKEN, TURKEY, PORK, or FISH

Many people are worried with the current President that prices may even go up more. You can find ways to eat CARNIVORE without going way out of budget. 

There are some things to consider like  you will probably eat less so if you cut one meal a day like possibly breakfast or lunch.

You can look for deals at local markets and if you're a hunter you can eat wild game such as deer and elk. Also fishing is a great way to relax and get your food as well. For those of us LIKE ME that are not able to hunt and can only fish once and while we must buy our food.

So here is the rub and I still stick to my guns on this question:

IS IT WORTH SPENDING MORE ON FOOD THAN GOING TO THE DOCTOR OR BEING SICK? 

HERE ARE MY RESULTS AT THE END OF WEEK 6:

I have been on pace with losing about 1.5 to 2 pounds per week. I started at 218 pounds, as of today April 7th 2025 I weighed in at 207. I have found some days my body burns less fat and sometimes more. 

I also have my boss joining me and he managed to get down to his goal of 195, and I had a third person join our challenge not doing Keto or Carnivore but just counting calories who has lost 10 pounds. Though I have to disclose I believe he lied about his start weight.
