WWE has announced a DRAFT for 2023 and it will start on Friday April 28th 2023 on the FOX network on Friday Night Smackdown and will continue through Monday Night Raw on the USA network on May 1st 2023.

This also comes as a bit of a surprise for WWE fans as the company had already announced the Pay Per View Backlash on May 8th, On top of that the WWE changed a Pay Per View on May 27th from King and Queens to Night of Champions.

Than there is the sale of the WWE to Endeavor  (EDR on the NYSE), With this rumors are floating about budget cuts to WWE in the 50 million dollar range.

WWE has also already told the WWE fans to expect SURPRISES in the WWE Draft this year. 

The WWE currently has Roman Reigns holding 2 Titles calling them the Undisputed Titles, and also Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne currently hold 2 titles with the Raw and Smackdown Titles calling them the Undisputed Tag Team Titles.

It has been rumored however that the WWE wished to split the Titles back up to each prospective show. Triple HHH himself who has been in charge of creative control of the WWE or at least so rumored though many believe Vince McMahon is still in charge has said he wanted to split the titles back up but it was much harder then it seemed to accomplish this.

This goes along with some really long Title runs in the WWE currently Roman Reigns who is the Champion for 1026 days as of this posting. 

Triple HHH or Paul Levesque who is listed as the Chief Content Officer for the WWE is a fan of long Title runs. So this may have some input on how the outcome of the DRAFT will go!

In Current story lines in the WWE several superstars have held the titles for a long time currently Bianca Belair who is the Raw Women's Title holder has held her title for 385 days, and the current Intercontinental Champion Gunther has held his Title for 296 days. Even the United States Champion Austin Theory has held his title for 146 days.

To top this off you have to add in the superstars form the show on USA on Tuesdays called NXT. The NXT is often used as a training ground for up coming entertainers to be moved to Raw or Smackdown.

The longest story line in WWE is currently the Bloodline who is Roman Reigns, Jay and Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. Recently Jay and Jimmy known as the Usos held the undisputed Tag Team Titles for 622 days until they lost them at Wrestle-Mania against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne.

So with all this in mind and everything happening in the WWE here are my Outlaw Predictions:

WWE could switch Titles on Raw and Smackdown sending Gunther to Raw and Austin Theory to Smackdown.  This was done once with the Women's Titles on Raw and Smackdown. 

If Gunther was moved would Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci also move to Raw?

WWE could split up the popular faction called the Judgement Day however I think it is more likely the entire faction would move from Raw to Smackdown considering Rhea Ripley is the Smackdown Women's Champion. 

Will Rhea Ripley,Finn Balor, Damien Priest, and Domick Mysterio all end up on Smackdown?

With current men's tag teams many fans have want the Street Profits to split up could Angelo Dawkins or Montez Ford be drafted to Smackdown, or what about the Alpha Academy could the WWE split up Otis and Chad Gable. These are two teams that could be split up and what about the recent team of Braun Strowman and Ricochet?

Will Maxxine Dupri have any say in the matter of the Alpha Academy?

Is it possible some entertainers from NXT will move to Smackdown or Raw here is a list from NXT that may be called up:

Ava, Bron Brekker, Cora Jade, Electra Lopez, Gigi Dolin, Kit Wilson and Elton Prince, Nikkita Lyons, Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Statton, Von Wagner, Zoey Stark

THE OUTLAW LIST OF WHO MAY MOVE BRANDS:

Asuka, Bayley, Candice LaRae, Chad Gable, Dexter Lumas, Elais, Johnny Gargano, Logan Paul, Miz and Maryse, Matt Riddle, Piper Niven, Sheamus, Butch, Rich Holland, Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Hit Row, LWO, and the Bloodline

There are some possible releases coming as well and some entertainers who may not be with WWE soon including:

Drew McIntyre, Alexa Bliss, Bray Wyatt, and Uncle Howdy
