For 3 years my wife Annie and I have been living a KETO LIFESTYLE. I started my blogs at the very start of our journey, and during this journey we have become experts in the Keto Lifestyle. We did this not only through our experience but also by learning from others, researching, and education.
Today Annie and enjoy a happier and healthier life and I truly believe you can do this also!
We belong to Keto groups, follow top doctors and have created our own Facebook group.
WE ARE NOT HEALTH PROFESSIONALS HOWEVER but we decided to try to help others live a KETO LIFESTYLE or go HEALTHY LIVING so that you can optimize your health in a HAPPY and HEALTHY way.
Recently Annie and I took on a new project called
OUTLAW ADVENTURE if you want to follow us that would be great just click the link.
On this new project we are traveling to places and going on the road so I thought I would take the time to share some of the things we do so that we can eat healthy and stay in our Keto Lifestyle.
So Annie and I often drive places in our car however we are working on getting an RV or Travel Trailer again soon. We often drive to Saint Louis that is a 200 mile drive or 400 mile round trip, but with our new adventure we can drive a lot of miles. Recently we took a trip from Springfield all the way to Tulsa Oklahoma. This is also about a 400 mile round trip.
Annie and I often keep water bottles or unsweetened tea in the car to drink. These days you can go almost to any gas station, store, fast food place and get unsweetened tea, or a bottle of water. Keep away from the sugar drinks like soda, or other types of drinks that contain a lot of sugar.
If your going to eat in a restaurant or even fast food research the menu and see if they will make changes to items you may want to try, often places will be more than willing to do this. You can do what is known as DIRTY KETO with some FAST FOOD PLACES, getting a burger with a lettuce wrap, or grilled chicken instead of deep fried.
On long trips Annie often packs snacks or a lunch with us in a cooler, this also saves us some money on eating out with the higher prices and all. Doing a little prep work can save you money, time and frustration or the stress of what you're going to eat on your trip.
If you have an RV they usually have the whole kitchen set up and that way you can have all your favorites with you and cook your own meals. However if you're just hitting the road like we do often it is just a matter of planning and thought.
One thing do not let the stress and worry keep you from enjoying hitting the road or exploring the places you want to see, You may find that many stores have food courts that sell baked foods, or grilled foods, or even smoked foods. I have found several places that I wanted to try along the way to Saint Louis and back.
Recently I checked out a cheese factory, beef jerky place, and we can change any meal at any place to fit our KETO LIFESTYLE so I know you can do it as well!
Go out and enjoy time visiting places, seeing things, and spending time with family and friends!
