This week I took Annie on a train ride down in Branson Missouri. We live in Springfield Missouri and Branson is about 1 hour away from us due South. Branson is a popular tourist attraction for several reasons it has rides, food, museums, a theme park, and is one of the top places for music in the country.
One of the top attractions is this train ride that leaves the station in Branson near the Branson Landing.

The Branson Landing is shopping area with many attractions shopping and food. It is a boardwalk that stretches down lake Taneycomo. One of the main retailers is PRO BASS. You can find all kinds of events and things going on at Branson Landing.
The train ride above has two types of tickets one is $30 per person, and the other is $70 per person for a dinner during your tide. You will board the train in Branson and ride along the railway to Reeds Springs. The ride is mostly wooded areas but the conductor of the train did point out some historical places along the way. You get to travel through a tunnel, and cross over the lake on a train bridge on the ride. The ride is about 2 hours long the train does not go full speed. The trains and passenger cars are revamped from the 1930's to the 1950's and in very good condition and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and it was a nice relaxing ride. During the ride they also play soft music from that time frame.
