The return of Sports and Sporting Events in June 2020
June 2020 is going to be a big month as sports open back up around the world.
Covid 19 had sports closed for several months closing down a billion dollar industry in the USA.
The NFL one of the largest sports leagues with 32 teams and many in major cities that often operates from August through February. The league often starts training camps in June or July and Pre Season usually starts in August.
The regular and playoffs ending with the championship game in February.
Normally there are live games on Mondays, and Thursdays and Saturday and Sundays.
College Sports is another huge draw with both football and basketball. Due to the Covid 19 the normal MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT was shut down. College sports rely on TV and live events for revenue for the college and teams.
Though talks from the NCAA areon going this could affect the whole entire industry.
MLB>NBA<NHL also all affected by the Covid 19 seasons had to be shut down, playoffs and championship games called off and season cut short. All these leagues currently are working to find a way to resume play.
These leagues got hit hard becuase they had been in the middle of a season all ready.
They are all currently in discussions on how to re open the sports.
BOXING,MMA companies also got shurt down the biggest company called UFC cancled many events. These sports are seeking to re open events and shows as well.
Nascar reopened lately as well and has experience a growth in the audience.
Many other sports as well Soccer, Tennis, Bowling, and minor sports all coming up with ways to hold events.
Not only the MAJOR LEAGUES that got hit many minor leagues, amature sports and other sports seeking ideas on how to reopen.
Also Nevada and New Jersey Sports Books got shut down, and Sports Wagering got a shut down in expansion due to the stop in sports.These are planning on a re opening as well in june 2020.
Many casinos in Nevada are planning on reopening on June 4th 2020.
It is estimated over 12 billion dollars will be lost in the sports industry due to COVID 19.
There are also many affects to other business as well such as vendors, merchants, and merchandise vendors. Also large entertainment companies like ESPN, and other sports entertainment companies.
There are roughly 3 million jobs, and 524 occupations according to many data results from various companies affected by the sports industry.
Just the NBA alone offers about 80 percent of the work to outside works at live games.
