A Cash Life Style ?
Is it worth living a cash life style or not?
How do you define a CASH LIFE STYLE ANYWAYS?
Nearly 3 years ago my family decided no Credit Cards and No loans. We decided that we would live life off the money we make but latter down the road we ended up getting a loan to purchase a car,
The fact we could not find a decent car with the money we had made our decision a bit easier, and we have nearly paid that loan off.
Living a cash life style even in an RV is still hard. I have seen some videos and blogs on the subject but here is my advice for those of you who want to try this life choice.
If you choose to go a CASH LIFE STYLE keeping track of your credit is still a good idea. Like us you never know when you may need a boost of money or credit for something.
Recently in June 2019 discovered a program with our Bank where as we purchase a CD through the BANK and we than can take a loan on that CD,
You do not need credit to do this but once you do the loan against the CD it is reported to all the major credit agencies ,and even better you get interest on the CD.
My family limited on funds and attempting to save money came across this idea when looking to purchase a truck and trailer set up. Instead of taking out of the money we saved and buying these items we set up a CD and take a loan against it.
This accomplishes several things we keep our savings, we purchase the vehicle and trailer and we own it out right no loans to any outside agencies.
While it does go against our original plans of no loans I wish IO would have known about this when wee purchased our car.
When you in an RV life repairs on your RIG may come up, maybe an emergency, or whatever. If you have money saved doing a CD loan may help you keep your money, make interest, and help your credit.
Just ask your banker or bank about this process.
