The big 50 by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik
Sometimes you just have to write something based on experience of life and all.
On August 7th 2019 I will turn 50 years old.
SO THIS BLOG EXPLAINS MY LIFE A LITTLE AND HOW I GOT TO WHERE I AM TODAY:
My life has been some what of a whirl wind since age 5 when my parents divorced.
I am not going into the details but My mother basically used myself and my sister as pawns against my father.
My mother had several relationships and married several times over the years.
Often my sister and I suffered physical and mental abuse from these relationships.
It was not till about the age 11 my mother and her than husband decided to escort me out the entire family.
Than living in Wisconsin I was sent to my father in South Dakota whom I never really knew. Somewhat his fault ,and defiantly my mother's.
By this time in my life I had been physically abused and mentally abused and had about all I was gonna take from anyone. This whole style did not sit well with my father and his wife at that time. It became a battle of wills one that landed me in foster homes and eventually in the slammer.
Lucky for me my grandparents whom are both passed away at this point in time decided to love me so much they took everything I dished out and more. I today realize what a gift I was given by God and how amazing my grandparents had been to me.
It was not easy I was very rebellious, and got in way more trouble than most parents or grandparents could handle.
My life also could have gone in one direction or another ,but luckily I managed to clean up my act and learned fly with the great Eagle above.
It does not mean I did not make my fair share of mistakes, nor does it mean people did not get hurt.
To this day I would say to anyone in my past I hope if I hurt you that you can find in your heart for forgiveness. I have found a way to forgive those and move on with my life.
I have been blessed for 22 years with a wonderful wife, and 2 great daughters. I have traveled the country, operated my own companies, been in national and worldwide news and headlines with my sports company.
Today my wife and I have to small companies and I work full time still, I am not rich by any means as far as money goes.
What I am rich in however is feeling the love, the grace, and the happiness of my family something I thought I would never have in my life time.
So in closing turning 50 is defiantly a time I can reflect back and say with a look on my face that says yea I have one this and that!
