Ronda Rousey tells us all about the WWE is scripted and about 1/2 real and fake
For years I have followed and yes even called myself a WWE wrestling fan. I written blogs over the years, and even posted my own odds on special events.
The World Wrestling Federation one of the longest lasting wrestling companies and the most popular over the years. You can even own your own piece of the WWE buying stocks in the company that you can find on the NYSE currently valued at $83.93.
In recent events the WWE stepped outside the ring of what is called Professional Wrestling and brought in two major MMA stars Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. Ever since this has happened a few issues have been brought to the attention of the fans who fuel the company.
Brock Lesnar who is the company current WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION rarely makes an appearance. Lesnar also rarely defends his title.
The WWE does not even talk about it much but a few of the Super Stars and other wrestlers stepped up to face Lesnar but the WWE has kept him in control of the Championship.
Ronda Rousey also brought into the WWE became the WWE RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPION. At first is seemed all was well but than the WWE fans decided to favor Becky Lynch. As a few months passed Rousey became frustrated and lashed out recently on National TV and on line at the WWE.
You can find the video and story almost everywhere on line. Ronda Rousey pointed out that the wrestling was SCRIPTED and much of it is actually FAKE. I think fans of wrestling have always been aware that the matches are scripted and pre determined. It still takes some skills and strength and endurance to be a pro wrestler. Also many wrestlers go steroids or other ways to shape the body and muscles.
Recently the WWE has been exposing the fact that the show is also some what like a movie, were a fake character that has been developed. Many of the wrestlers develop roles and they play those roles out like a good movie dram or TV series. Fans either buy into the story line or revolt against it. Sometimes fans cheer and some times fans boo.
Either way one of the things the WWE has done over the years is tweaked and turned story lines making fans either love or hate certain wrestling entertainers. However it is sometimes hard for the fans or even the entertainers to recall that it all is a show. Sometimes the lines get confused and the fans and entertainers forget the fact it really all is just fake.
So what I do not understand is why the fans and media jump all over Ronda Rousey for just saying what we all already knew.
