My review on online Pokemon Card Draws by BoxGG and Hapabox
This is a new idea in the world of POKEMON and other collectibles where you draw cards ONLINE.
Boxgg.com is a web page that developed a way to pull cards online through mystery boxes. So you can go check it out on the link above but I am not giving this a very good review.
I decided to try the company out to see if I even liked it and my thoughts are that I believe it is too expensive and the draws are terrible. On top of that to get cards they charge you even more to ship them.
BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE:
I found this to be interesting at first so I did sign up and it seemed fun at first. However after the bells and whistles of signing up you must deposit money into the account.
So I decided I would try just $20.
There are not a lot of explanations on how the mystery boxes work. I thought you bought a box and it revealed what was inside. This is not how it works however you have to buy each item in the box and you can buy up to 5 items at a time. The price of each item is listed under the mystery box. That is not the price of an entire box but for each item in the box.
Once your items are revealed you can add it to an inventory or sell it back. At first I did hit a few good cards in some pulls. However for the most part I was pulling the same cards and pulling massive duplicate cards. Losing money every-time I did a pull on a mystery box.
There are other parts of this I did not even explore like the EXCHANGE and BATTLES because I did not even understand how it was working. I also did not understand this SPICE idea of how spicy the boxes are for each pull.
I won a nice card that was worth a small amount of money $180 but soon that was gone as I tried to pull cards from the boxes. All I saw was money down the drain. Soon it was gone and I decided it was over.
Another part I hated was to mail the cards I wanted I had to pay shipping, and other fees that made it not even worth shipping the card. In the end I played out my $20 and called it good.
I would not recommend this because I just feel it wastes your money.
LINK TO HAPABOX HERE:
Happabox is another company that is doing online mystery box pulls. It works similar to Boxgg.
However it has more than just Pokemon cards.
So I did the same experiment with Hapabox and I invested $20 to start.
BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE:
Once again the price on the boxes is not for the entire box. It is the price per item in the box. You can also buy up to 5 items in each box.
I played several boxes and my money was gone within minutes. I did not win anything of value though I did have one item shipped to me.
The shipping cost around $15.
This company offers a buy and sell but you only get about 1/2 the price listed if you sell the items.
They do offer a way to make money as well something the other company does not do.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience you just do not get what you pay for.
FINAL REVIEW:
I thought this would be fun but $20 did not last very long. even though I won a few items it seemed after I won it all went downhill after that. I could see spending lots of money and not getting anything in return really. The one item I shipped cost more than the item to get shipped.
I cannot recommend these companies to anyone based on my experience if you decide to try tham I would beware of the cost and money you invest.
